Chapter 1

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP* *CRASH*

The loud bang of you smashing your hand on your alarm clock echo through your room. "6:00 already?" You groan as you sit up in bed and rub your eyes. You look over at clock and almost have to do a double take. "Who the fuck changed my alarm to go off at 5:00?!" You groaned as you tried to lay back down to get an extra hour of sleep. After you lay in bed for about 5 minutes you realise that you won't fall back asleep so you start to do the same daily ritual you did the past 4 days at Overwatch Academy. You take a shower, change into some casual clothes, eat breakfast, and then brush your teeth. The only thing about today is that you had an extra hour to spare so after brushing your teeth you decide to see if they have opened the library so you can turn in the book you checked out the first day.

You walk out of your dorm and lock the door heading toward the dorm house exit. As soon as you go to push the door open you here someone call out to you. You turn to see that the voice in question belonged to Jack Morrison. He had been your tour guide the first day you arrived and introduced you to some of the other students, you guys soon becoming friends that same day. "Hey (Y/N) wait up!" He exclaims yet again as he's sprinting down the hall. He stops as soon as he gets close to you and bends forward to catch his breath. "Geez Jack you ok?" You asked him. "Yea....im....good." he managed to spit out in between breaths. "What....are you doing up so early." He says as he stands up straight, regaining his breath. "My alarm went off early today so I figured I would hear to the library to return this book." You told him. "Well good luck with that I'm gonna go do my run." He tells you as he pushes the door open. "Run? You nearly passed out sprinting down the hallway." You said while trying to hold back a laugh. "Haha your funny." He replied in a jokey way as he walked out the door. Your phone buzzes which is weird considering the only people who have your number are your parents and Jack. You look at the text that was sent. "You're welcome loverboy😙." You look at the text with a weird expression and figured that it was someone who got the number wrong and continue about your business. As you walk out the door however it hits something with a small thud. You check to see what it was and saw Angela on the ground holding her head. "Oh my God are you alright?!" You exclaim as you rush to get side. "Yes (Y/N) I am fine." She looks up at you and smiles. "This isn't the first time i've been hit by a door trying to walk by here." You help her up to her feet and smile awkwardly. "I am truly sorry is their anyway I can make it up to you?" You asked. She stood there thinking before she smiled. "Well I am pretty hungry...maybe you could buy me breakfast?" She gave you a warm, friendly smile. "Well I already ate." You told her. "And besides won't your boyfriend get mad if he sees you on a date with another man?" You say this in a jokey tone with a smile. "Who said it was a date?" She replied in the same tone. You couldn't help but to laugh at her. "What do you want I don't have a whole lot of money?" She stood thinking for only a second before giving you get answer. "Pancakes!" She exclaims, throwing her hands into the air. You again couldn't help but laugh at her. "Ok let's go get you some pancakes." You said to her as you and her walked to the local diner.
