Park Jimin

I was too mesmerised at her mere existence before me I didn't realise Hoseok-Hyung coughed at me.

"I'm Jimin," I stood up almost too abruptly, and held my hand for a handshake which she took in a heartbeat. Hoseok-hyung and Noona laughed at my awkwardness and I swear i was that close to dig my own grave. She smiled at me instead of laughing, was she being nice or is that how she is?

"I'm (y/n)," she smiled softly, her eyes making small crescents and dimples showing off gracefully.

"Here, have a seat." I got off from my seat and pulled the empty chair for her.

"Thank you," Her voice was so soft, unlike the voice I recognized hours ago.

"and you didn't pull a chair for me, what a great man." Noona shook her head as she pulled her own chair.

"yeah, what a great man, Hyung." I glared at Hoseok-hyung who was giggling all over the place. it was his place to pull a seat for a lady like a gentleman he is, not that really matters.

She was much paler that I thought- or I had saw earlier. Her cheeks would make shades of pink occasionally and I found that cute. Her eyes peers under her light long lashes in either curiosity or excitement. I need to stop staring at her.

"Jimin, are you okay? what are you staring at? is my makeup is a bit messy? I swear its the wind-"

"no..it's not like.. I mean your make up is fine.. I mean, you just look effortlessly beautiful, wait--" it was so embarrassing, I swear i was almost done digging my own grave. Hyung and noona weren't much helper and (y/n) was just laughing sheepishly.

Stop being so cute you're stressing me out.

the rest of dinner went by smoothly. We talked about how Noona and (y/n) met. there was a spark in her eyes everytime she talks about her past events with noona, and my heart went soft for that.

(y/n) has a soft spot for art even though she was majoring business and currently working in a branding company. she likes travelling and going on to culinary spots she has never tried.

i had also learned that (y/n) is into photography and she was more than willing to be a photographer for hyung and noona's wedding, but Noona refused because she insisted that she needs her best friend to enjoy the wedding as well, and also to calm her down when she's panicking.

"I swear, (Y/n) is younger than me but i feel like she's the one who's older.. there's too much motherly inside her it creeps me out,"

(y/n) would share a few comments, also questions regarding how I met hyung and how I survived years with this noisy hyung.

"One time, I had to put an earplug all day when they were staying at my apartment," (y/n) glared playfully at the giggling couples.

"that sound's painful," I cringed, imagining myself in (y/n) boots. "do you always be that noisy?"

"no, only sometimes," Hyung made a dirty look and winked. that's just sums up a reason why I need to vomit.

"Hyung needs some milk,"

"No, I need to dance, cmon Hyeri," Hoseok pulled Noona out of her chair and strolled to the dance floor. Those bastards practically left me alone with (y/n), not that I mind, though.

We talked about different stuff to avoid an awkward silence. From aliens, foods, works, friends, even politics. Not once we have mentioned a thing about our exes and love life.

I began to notice how different (y/n) is than her. (y/n) is a girl with different perspectives, she isn't scared to word up her opinions, while she  is the reserved type, only speak when it is necessary. (y/n) knows her priorities, unlike her. (y/n) is more of a visual person, she prefers analyse things with her sight and logic. While She preferred to conclude things through her senses and listened to her heart.

"You really need to stop zoning out, is there something on your mind?" (y/n) snapped me out of my thoughts.

I shook my head in response and dug onto my food. (y/n) had this look on her face as if she knew there's something wrong with me.

"You know, you can always talk to me if you need anything or someone to talk to," I turned my attention to her, and to my sight was the warmest smile I've ever received. "You look like you've been forcing a smile through the night, and I'm honestly sad to see you like that,"

"Stop reading people faces," I laughed bitterly at her. She did not budge though, instead she looked at me with those curiosity stares under her soft locks.

"Let me guess, did u just went through a horrible break-up?" (y/n) softly asked, as if the question was the most fragile thing on earth.

She hits the bullseye. I wanted to say something, but my voice betrayed me as I sat there looking at her in  astonishment.

"I thought so," (y/n) gave me a faintest smile.

"It's in the past lets just move on," I shrugged.

"and yet you're the one who's still stuck in the past," (y/n) cooed.
