'One night.'

My eyes nearly budge out of my sockets with his words and I can't stop myself from coughing loudly, choking on my drink. As a result, I end up spitting half of it over the bar. While I'm trying to steady my breathing from the stingy sensation in my throat, I look at Luca and snap.

'*cough* Hell *cough* no!'

He seems to be enjoying my demise a little too much as he laughs wholeheartedly. So he is just another pretty boy trying to get his catch of the day. I glare at him while pouring myself a new drink.

'What a waste.'

I mutter in annoyance, referring to my drink. You as well. I add silently as his gaze keeps fixated on me, what is it with these people?! I heave a deep sigh before turning back at him once more.

'Listen. I don't know what's so damn interesting about me, but leave me the hell alone!
Besides, they seem far more interested in you than I am.'

I say gesturing to the corner near the stairs with the flick of my hand to where a group of girls is swooning over him. Don't they have more pride than that? I wonder as Luca briefly glances over. But he doesn't seem to care as he continues to ignore them, quickly looking back at me.

'Well, seems as if those girls and I are in the same boat then...'

I raise my brows with a hint of sarcasm as he states that. If you mean you're both interested while the other party couldn't care less, he's correct. In that case, you should also know that it's best to throw in the towel. I look to the side again and I can already see hatred appearing in the girls eyes who are glaring at me. Great, that's all I need. They all frown at me disapprovingly, though I can't blame them. They all look like the types that worship fashion magazines, I'm nothing like that.

'I don't need a guy, alright. Already got one, and the best thing about him is he doesn't nearly talk as much as you guys and he always manages to get me to relax.'

I tell Luca sweetly clicking my tongue. His eyes waver slightly at my statement which only causes my grin to grow bigger. Right, now fuck off.

'And who would that be? I don't see him anywhere.'

He grumbles not even hiding his irritation, making me chuckle at his obvious behavior. I don't know why, but when he makes that face I wanna push his buttons even more.

'Your eyes must be lacking then, his name is Jack and he's right here.'

I snort, picking up the bottle of whiskey while flashing him a mocking smile. He sighs and it almost looks like he's actually ...relieved? Why? I wonder.

'In that case, I'm gay.
I love Jack, so we could enjoy him together.'

He states as if it's the most natural thing to say, which almost causes me to spit out my drink for a second time. Did he actually just say that?! My brain is working overtime trying to figure this guy out but it's to no avail. He clearly has no sense of shame at all, to be saying something like that. It could've easily been misunderstood if other people happened to overhear his words. I chuckle slightly amused, I gotta give him credit for trying.
