Everything had happened so quickly. One second Alec was hanging around the corner with his friends and the next the cops were putting handcuffs on him, screaming in his ears his rights. It had all started when he had decided to carry some weed on him, not a lot but enough for him and his friends, then the cops decided they wanted to search the suspicious looking kid on the corner and Alec took off running. He thought he had escaped them, but they had surprise attacked him.

Now the boy sat in a small, confined room, completely weedless and waiting for his punishment. He had his feet crossed on top of the table and his hands behind his head. He wasn't nervous or scared. This wasn't the first time he had been picked up. The seventeen-year-old wasn't the best at following the law. He wasn't the best at following any type of rule actually. They had put him in this small room a couple hours ago. It was safe to safe that he was out of his mind bored. He had been reduced to just staring at the ceiling and making pictures out of the cracks. He didn't know if it was just his dirty mind, but a lot of the cracks looked like dicks... it probably was his dirty mind.

He didn't flinch or move his eyes when he heard the door open and a familiar face enter. Pierce Downing. He had meet this particular man eight years ago. A couple days after the death of his parents. Eight years ago, Alec had become an orphan. They didn't waste any time putting him into the foster system. He was just another kid they had to find a home for. He wasn't to lucky in the adoption department either. His lack of respect for authority might have helped with that.

"I wish I could say I was surprised to see you back here." Pierce said, a disappointed look in his eyes and a frown on his lips. Alec still kept quiet, not in the mood for listening to a lecture. He had heard enough to last him a life time and he wished they would just realise that it didn't do shit. The lectures just made him more pissed off. "So, I was told it was weed this time, oh and resisting arrest and assault... seriously Alec?"

Alec shrugged and laughed, making Pierse glare at him. He couldn't help it. Just thinking back to that chase against him and the cops was funny. He gave them a good run for their money to. He hadn't even broken a sweat either. He was a pretty fit dude.

"This isn't a funny situation Alec! You're lucky I'm friends with the chief and I convinced him to not make you go to court but I'm not always gonna be here to save your ass." Pierce snapped sternly, it seemed taking the soft approach with the foster boy never worked.

"It's a little funny." Alec snickered, "and I never asked you to save me. I can take care of myself." He continued. He never asked for Pierce to bail him out, but it seemed no matter how many times he pushed the older man away, he wouldn't give up.

"I talked to Mr. Allen," Alec rolled his eyes at the mention of his foster carer, "he said that you haven't been in the house for the last week. So, where have you been?"
