Loki's Mission

Loki POV:

It's been 3 months since I've seen my beautiful wife Vex, Goddess of magic, weapons, revenge, emotions, truth, and torture. She was taken from me by my oaf of a brother, Thor. I haven't seen her since. After Vex had been taken from me, I started planning my revenge. 'What could I destroy and take away from Thor that he loves so much'. I thought about this long and hard, but then it came to me, Midgard. I could take the humans he loves away from him as revenge for taking my wife from me. I would need help though, so I made a deal with the Jotunheimr. They would help me take over Midgard in exchange, they want the Tesseract.

Fury POV:

Walking into one of our bases, I walk up to Dr. Selvig "How bad is it?" "We don't know sir." he tells me "What are the energy levels at?" He responds "Climbing sir." I nod and look around as I order the place evacuated. "Where's agent Barton?" "Hawkeye?" Selvig asks "He's up in his nest" he points upwards as Barton comes down. "It's happening again sir, it's sparking."Before I could respond, a flash of bright light covers the room and a man with a spear appears.

Loki POV:

"Sir, Please put the spear down" I hear from my left. I see a man trying to take the tesseract "Please don't, I still need that." The man with only one eye responds "This doesn't have to get any messier." I glare "Of course it does. I've come far, too far for anything else" I tell them. "I am Loki, of Asgard, and I am burdened with glorious purpose." A different, older man speaks "Loki? Brother of Thor?" I glare at him this time before speaking again "I come with glad tidings, of a world made free." I use my scepter to take control of the one-eyed man's followers and take the cube, smirking as the place blows up.

Thor POV:

Glaring, I make my way down to the holding cells where Vex is. Upon entering, I see her glaring straight at me before turning away. "Vex" I begin "Loki has gone and plans to take over Midgard." I look at her as she laughs "So what? Why tell me?" She asks looking at me. I sigh "In exchange for helping me defeat him, I will let you go." she laughs "You took me from my husband for no reason but hate for him and now you want my help? Unbelievable." She says" Alright Thor, I will help you find Loki, but once we find him you will no longer receive help from me. You see, this is an act of revenge for what you have done to us." I look down thinking about what she said ".Deal. Help me at least find him." She nods, standing up before I let her out. Smiling she walks up to me and punches me in the face "Never, and I mean Never take me away from my husband ever again or else you will know true torture." I lay on the ground dazed at her punch, but nods as she walks out with me getting up and following after her.

Loki POV:

I am caught in a place called Germany smirking as I am pushed into a flying device. A man in a striped suit is standing to my left as he sees my face when thunder and lightning boom. "What's the matter," he asks "Scared of a little lightning?" I turn to him "I'm not overly fond of what follows..." We hear a slam come from the roof as the door opens and Thor storms in grabbing me and flying off. We land on a dirt mountain side as he pushes me to the ground standing up. "Where's the tesseract?" I laugh "I missed you too."

He starts pacing "Do I look to be in a gaming mood?" he asks "Why are you doing this Loki? We were raised together, we played together, we fought together. Do you remember nothing of that?" He asks as I scoff "I remember it all, we used to get along until you took my wife from me!" I yell "I had to!" he yells back "Listen well brother, I-" "I'm listening" I smirk. Watching the fight happen, I get distracted by small waves of black and gold as they come into my view. Then I hear a voice I have been longing to hear. "Loki?"

Vex POV:

"Loki," I say, seeing him for the first time in 3 months standing there. I can't believe I'm seeing him, after all, this time apart. My Loki, standing there right before my eyes. He turns and sees me "Vex," he says "How are you here? I thought my oaf of a brother locked you up." He slowly walks over to me, cupping my cheek as I rest my hand on his "Loki" I look at him with tears threatening to spill from my eyes as he wraps his arms tight around my waist, burying his face in my neck. I wrap my arms around his neck doing the same.

Loki POV:

"My Vex" I hold her in my arms as tight as I could without hurting her as I feel cold wet liquid hit my neck as she starts sniffling. I pull away from her a bit and look into her big, beautiful eyes. "I love you, my immortal queen, till the end of the world." I smile at her as she blushes, smiling and I lean down to kiss her soft lips. "Come with me Vex. Together we can rule Midgard. As King and Queen." I feel her take a step back from me as I look at her, she looks away from me. "Loki..." she starts "I don't want to rule Midgard. I don't want to rule the world. The only thing I want is you, my husband. I want to be able to wake up every morning next to you and see your face. I want to be able to kiss you anytime I want. I just want you Loki." She looks down and sits on the rock next to her. I kneel down in front of her, taking her hands "I love you Vex, with everything I am. If you want only me, then I will give up my mission to take over Midgard. I care only for you and you alone. I-" she interrupts me, kissing my lips and hugging me tightly. "Thank you, Loki." I smile down at her, nodding once and kissing her head as the soldier out of time drops behind us.

Steve POV:

When I got to the top of the mountain Loki was on, I didn't expect to see him with his arms around a woman. "Ma'am please step away from him," I told her. She just looks at me then Loki then back at me before she speaks "I'm not moving away from him." I see Loki wrap his arms around her waist tighter "Loki, step away from her." He glares at me "I don't think so soldier. She's mine" I take a step in their direction just as the other man comes up behind me, putting his hand on my shoulder. "They won't listen, no matter what you ask" I sigh and nod as he grabs Loki and Loki grabs the woman and they fly up to the heli-carrier.

Fury POV:

"If you try to escape, it's 30,000 feet straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?" I tell him glaring at him. He smirks "Impressive, but not built for me I assume" I keep glaring " It was built for something much bigger than you" I see him still smirking "it burns you to have come so close, doesn't it? the Tesseract, the power, unlimited power." He smirks as I walk away and into the meeting room.

Bruce POV:

"He really grows on you, doesn't he?" I ask as we are all walking the feed on the screen. I see Cap. America turns to Thor "Loki's gonna drag this out, so Thor what's his play?" "Loki means to take over Midgard. He has an army called the Chitauri who are not of Asgard. He wants to lead a war against your people." Thor tells us as the woman he came with smacks the back of his head. We all turn towards her as she glares at Thor.

Natasha stands up "Who's she?" Thor looks up then at the woman before I sighed "this is Vex. She is the Goddess of Revenge, Torture, and Death. She has control over magic and fire." He stops looking up at everyone "she is also Loki's wife." Mine and everyone's eyes go wide at that as Natasha glares "why isn't she locked up somewhere then" she says as she moves towards Vex. Right, when she was about to grab her, Vex smirks at her before I see her eyes go pure black and all of the sudden Natasha is on the floor gasping for air.

Thor looks away but places his hand on Vex's shoulder "That's enough" he says and she as she looks straight at me, I see her blink once then her eyes go back to normal. Tony stands up "What just happened?" Thor turns to face him and explains "Vex can take anyone's soul if she wanted to. That's why she's the Goddess of Death. Don't upset her" he looks at Natasha who is being helped up by Steve "She can kill you without ever touching you." I open my mouth to say something but he interrupts me "Her powers cannot be taken away by anything or anyone unless she allows it."
