Once I was done I went back up to my room. I opened the door and grabbed a book from the frigid bookcase and sat down on the small arm chair in the corner of the room. The book I picked up was about Canada's history it was pretty interesting actually like how the government treated chinese immigrants and when same sex marriage became legal on july 20th 2005. And how the first nations were forced into residential schools and how some of them had a problem with substance abuse. It was quite fascinating to be honest. I put down the book when I got about a quarter way through it. After i put the book down I quickly changed into some sleep wear that I found in the dresser and crawled into the cosy bed.

About a month after I got to that wretched place I started noticing people went missing. I asked around to gather information but got nothing. It was so infuriating to say the least but  I brushed it off and kept a level head. I was reading on the sofa when i heard a announcement go off in my room the voice said “ resident of room 310 please come to the main floor immediately.” I neatly put the book away and put some shoes on and walked out of the white metal door. I trecked my way down the deserted bland hallway. I got to the silver elevator and pressed the button to take me to the main floor. I noticed that the elevator made a creaking sound. As I made it to the main floor. I stepped out of the elevator once I reached my destination I saw the same lady from before. She led me to this room and in the room was a chair with restraints and a medical supplies. Two muscular men clutched both of my arms and at this point I was screaming and thrashing around. They aggressively placed me in the chair and tied the restraints around my arms and legs to hold me down. A man with grey slicked back hair, round glasses and a lab coat walked into the room and sat on a desk chair that was in the corner of the room I assume he’s a doctor of some kind. He greeted me but I didn’t reply because if I did he could hear the fear in my voice. The man grabbed a syringe from the medical table and tilted my head to the side and poked the skin on my neck with the syringe and after that everything went black I could feel the void fill my body.
