I burst into the room that Elliot uses as his office, livid and impatient. I begin yelling and demanding answers "Who the hell- wait. What the hell is that?" I asked as I pointed to a marking in the ground. "That, Mister Mors, is a ritual circle. We'll be needing that to begin your training." "My training? Elliot, I never said I was willing to study." Elliot looks at me and smiles mischievously. "Why, Helios, your face and willingness to have come for answers has proven otherwise." Damn, he got me. "Okay..." I sigh, "What first?" "Step into the circle, Mister Mors."

   I take a deep breathe and step into the circle. "What is the purpose of this?" I ask as I stand there. "The material, bone chalk, that this circle is made from, reacts with a certain magical essence in a human's body that has the capacity to perform necromancy naturally. If you have this understanding, we can proceed. If not, we have to train you to be able to muster it." He explained as he ate an apple. I look at Elliot and scratch my head. "Elliot, how do we-" suddenly, the circle of bone chalk glows a bright green then dims to a dark green, glowing  vividly, the room illuminated by the glow.

  After a few seconds, Elliot began to talk. "I'll be damned... the legends are true." Legends? "Yes, legends, about someone with such an amazing connection to the nether energy that it reacts to the bone chalk. Everyone, bar one, makes it only glow bright green." "And this means...?" I asked kind of skeptical about this. "You're the death lord..." Elliot replied.
