Chapter 1

I've been on the run for a year now. Traveling from place to place. I finally came to a small little town. The sign said "Welcome to Bradford England." I came here all the way from Doncaster, England. I lived there my whole life until the Council found me. Since I can shape-shift I mostly flew here as a Mocking Jay.

I see this castle like building and I walk into it to see if it is a high school. I walk in and there are thousands of kids that stop to stare at me like they have seen a ghost. Well this is defiantly a school. I walk around to find the principle's office and when I find it I walk in.

"Well, hello!" The over excited lady asked.

"Umm... Hi. Are you the principle?" I asked clearly not enjoying how excited she is.

"Haha! Silly girl! I'm Rosella. The principles assistant. You are?" She asked. This lady has issues. No one is ever this excited.

"I'm Evelyn. I just moved here and didn't know this was a school." I told her, "Can I register?"

"Of course! But first let me ask you a couple of questions." She said getting all serious all of the sudden. I nodded for her to go on. "Are you a paranormal?"

I didn't know if I should be telling her this. I just met her and she could send me off to a facility to have me pricked and poked at for not being human. But humans don't know about paranormals. They only think they are fantasies. If only they were.

The lady noticed how uncomfortable I was so she added "Don't worry nothing will happen to you here. This is a paranormal school. All paranormals in this city come here. This is the best one in the country. So are you a paranormal?" She repeated.

"Y-yes..." I said clearly not happy that I had to tell her my biggest secret.

"Are you a hybrid or a purebred?" She asked. She sure does like getting personal.

"I'm a hybrid." Oh I hope to god she doesn't ask me what kind. It's to risky because I'm so rare. She might not let me register here if I tell her.

"Okay I also need to know what breeds you are so I can put you into those classes so you can learn more about that breed." OOP there it is. The question I didn't want to hear. Grreeeeaaaaat.......

"I'm a really rare hybrid. Would I still be able to register?" I really wanted to be at this school because it was a greater possibility that the Council couldn't find me.

"Oh yes of course you could still register here! We have so many rare hybrids that I couldn't even count them all." She got all excited again. Didn't know it was that exciting to meet a new person. "So what breeds are you?" Can she stop repeating the fucking questions! Damn! She's like a broken record player, that no matter how many times you hit against the wall, it won't stop.

"Okay..... So I am an Angel-Vampire-Werewolf-Shapeshifter-Wizard hybrid." I told Rosella slightly nervous.

"Wow.." Rosella replied slightly amused. "There is another student here with the exact same breeds! His name is Hunter and he has black hair like yours and he has a panda that follows him everywhere. You can't miss him." I nod. She's a nice person when she isn't all excited. "He should be in all the same classes you are in, so maybe he can show you around."

"Thanks." I said. She nodded and handed me a packet to fill out to register.

After I was registered, Rosella handed me a key to my dorm and all of the school supplies needed for my classes. I'm glad I could start today I don't think I could go another day out on the streets.

I walk to my dorm and put in the key to unlock the door. I open the door and I am greeted to a girl that has long fiery red hair that fades to a really bright orange. It's also wavy. She turns around once she hears the door open. When she sees me she smiles the hugest smile ever and she has a great smile too. Her eyes are a golden red color and she is about the same height as me, she's just a little bit taller.

"OMG HIII!!!!!! I'm Phoenix, but you can call me Phi Phi. Are you new here?" She seems very nice. I was really nervous and my eyes were green. Now that I'm happy they turned to a yellowish color. I think Phoenix noticed. "WOAH!!! Your eyes just changed colors! How did you do that?!"

"I cant really control them. They change color to the mood I'm in." I explained to her. She seemed really interested. "Oh ya I am new." I added.

"What moods are what colors?" She asked. I've never had to tell anyone this before because it was too risky with all the humans in my old town. I would just tell them that I had contacs that could change colors.

"Okay, so Nervous=Green, Happy=Yellow, Sad=Blue, Angry=Black, Love=Purple, Upset=Orange, Hungry=Red, All Of Them=I Found My Mate, and Scared=Brown, but that's rare because I am never really scared.." I explained.

"That.... Is.... AWESOME!!!!" She yelled. I just laughed at her childness. "So, this is a little off topic but what are you?" Phi Phi asked. "If you don't mind me asking." She added quickly not wanted to scare me away or anything.

"No its fine. I'm an Angel-Vampire-Werewolf-Shapeshifter-Wizard hybrid. What about you Phi Phi?" I asked clearly interested if we were a like in any way.

"Oh my god!" She screamed, "My friend Hunter is the exact same hybrid as you!"

"So I've heard." I told her getting curious to who this guy is. This Hunter guy seems to be known by a lot of people I wonder if he's popular or something. I thought.

"Oh by the way I'm an Angel-Vampire-Werewolf hybrid. A really common one." Phi Phi stated.

"Cool." Was all I could say. I wasn't really interested anymore. I wanted to find this Hunter guy and find out who he is.

My thoughts were interrupted when a bell range. Bell? By the dorms? That's weird. Oh well. "I never did catch your name..." Phi Phi reminded me.

"Oh sorry it's Evelyn." I replied to her.

"Well then Evelyn we should start heading to class so we aren't late." Phi Phi told me getting her stuff.

We walked out the door to our class that we had together. It's nice to already have a friend on the first day.

It was kind of a shitty chapter but hope you enjoyed it. Sorry it was so short. ~Snowball~
