School had just ended thank god like the day couldn't have gone any longer. I like to walk home I enjoy the peace and quiet especially when its fall or when it previously rained i love the smell of rain. My house was maybe 30-45 minutes away but I didn't mind I had music I could be listening to and it would go quickly. I was walking with one earbud in listening to Melanie Martinez Mad Hatter. My favorite song currently when I heard honking from a car. I turned around to find a car down the road and slowing down next to me. I instantly knew who was by the truck they were driving it was a red truck. I see Lily in the passengers seat and Zach in the drivers seat.
"Hey alex come hitch a ride with us so you can get home faster so I could get ready at your house for the party and help you look extra mighty fine" I notice Lily wiggling her eyebrows and can't help but to chuckle at her. "No thanks Lily I can walk and I really don't want to be crammed in the back seat." "Just get in loser we are heading to your house" I notice Zach sigh I know he doesn't want me to get in. "Fine only cause you asked oh so nicely" Lily laughs and then she starts moving to the backseat. Oh no I'm gonna have to sit in the front seat with Zach. This is going to be one hell of a ride.
I hop in the car still listening to Melanie Martinez. I get tapped on the shoulder and noticed it was Lily who did it. "Yeah what is it Lily?". "Whatcha listening to?" "Just some Melanie Martinez why?" I was just wondering now I know what to play at the party so you can enjoy the experience" "oh ok thanks I guess" "no problem" I turn to face the front and notice my dark blue house coming into view. We pull up the drive way and I hop out of the car and so does Lily. "Alright Zach I will see you when I get home" I hear Lily say. I start walking to the front door and I hear Lily say wait up so I turn around and see her walking towards me. I hear Zach say " goodbye Alex" in a sort of annoying tone . I don't say anything and just start heading inside. About to get pampered by my bestfriend for the next few hours. Hopefully this party is going to be enjoyable I say inside my head
