ChApter One

"Happy Birthday Charter!"

I smile and turn to my best friends Lust and Berry and scream with them as we celebrate my 18th birthday at the new club  that had opened up. I dance to the music as we drink shot after shot and party the night away..

Since we graduated together we got jobs and eventually got an apartment and moved in together. We've been friends since elementary school and mostly did everything together.

Berry slams another shot down and makes a face.

"Whose driving us home because I'm getting hella drunk tonight!"

I shake my head.

" I may be 18 but today my bday and I'm not driving shit!"

Shit faced and feeling good me and my girls head to the dance floor and turn heads..

As I'm dancing I keep seeing this guy who keeps watching me dance as I laugh and have a good time with my friends.

Berry notices though and smiles at me.

"Mr tats sho'll looking over here!"

I look at him again and admit he was fine but I ain't want no nigga one nighting me since I was drunk. I wasn't stupid nor dumb by far...

Once the clock strikes 2:25 am.  Me and Berry and Lust stumble out the club talking shit and laughing. Once we reach Berry car we argue whose going to drive when dude from the club and his two boys walk to us and he speaks to me.

"Hello.Im Treacherous and I would love to get to know you."

I smile.....First time a man made a great first impression on me..

"I'm Charter and today is my birthday and these are my sisters!" I slur a little bit..

We exchange cell phone numbers and I watch him leave.

"Did that nigga favor the nigga by him?" Lust asks while we get in the car.

I shrugg to drunk to notice anything but lights spinning in circles. Berry drives us home and I'm shocked she didn't wreck her car how fast she was driving. As soon as I get inside my house, I fall asleep still in my club dress.

The next morning I wake up to my cell phone ringing and I open one eye and see a number I never seen.

"Hello?"

A deep voice on the other end chuckles.

"It's 3 in the afternoon what are you doing?"

I look at my phone and then remember the dude from the club.

"Treach or something like that!?"

"It's Treacherous and would you like to go somewhere and eat with me?No funny business."

I roll out of bed and then I see if Berry or Lust are awake which they aren't so I take a shower and brush my teeth and slip on some jeans and a green crop top with my all white chucks.

I sit outside on the front and Treacherous pulls up blasting Hey Lover -'LL Cool J.

He parks and gets out and opens my door for me.

"You look good Charter."

I blush and smile at him.

"Thank you."

He closes the door for me and then walks and gets inside the car.

"You like pancakes?"

I smile nodding.

"I can eat hundreds!"

"Good my mom makes excellent pancakes!"

"I am still hungover but pancakes soak up alcohol so im down!"

His eyes light up as he stares at me.

"A lot girls get scared to meet my mother. I'm happy you didnt."

"I'm not shy about meeting people."

We chat about ourselves and soon pull up to a cute small yellow house with a carmel skin woman sitting on the front.

"Hi Charter and by the way Treacherous your late!"

My mouth falls open as his mother hugs me and walks over and slaps Treacherous on the arm since he towered over her.

"I know your name because Treacherous only brought three women out of his whole life to meet me. Last night he came here and talked my ear off about you all night.You must be special to him."

Treacherous smiles and shakes his head.

"Mom that was private between son and mother."

She slaps his arm again and then turns to me.

"Help an old lady fix y'all plates!"

I walk inside her kitchen with her where a man who favors Treacherous is busy stuffing his face full of pancakes to notice we are in the kitchen.

"My name is Mama B. All family calls me that."

After being fed lots and lots of pancakes and told funny stories about Treacherous and his twin Treachery who Lust was right they favored because they were twins!
I sit back in the chair as Mama B clears the table and Treacherous helps her. It's just me and Treachery in the dining room and he stares at me.

"My brother must really like you to have brought you here the next day.A night after wards." He stands up.
"Must be special!"

Me and Treacherous spend the day getting to know each other and his mom said her piece time to time. My phone beeps and Lust had texted me asking where I was.

"Do you have to leave?"

"No but it is getting late so I can't have my girls worried about me.

He drives me home and when he parks he gets out and opens my door.

"Do I get a kiss?" I ask laughing she getting out the car.

"On the first date gross!" He makes a face and  steps back and then breaks into a laugh.

"I take things slow believe me it's worth the wait."

I smile while walking up the stairs.

"What is?"

He smirks.

"All this!" He moves his body in a secular way and I try not to drool.

Brother was fine!

"Ima take your word for it but you better be worth my time!" I smile as he salutes and watches me walk to my door where I knock and he drives off as Lust pulls inside.

"Where yo ass been?"

I smile while laying on the sofa nearly crushing Berrys feet.

"Dude from club invited to his mother's house and also was very gentlemen like!"

"WINNNNNNER BISHHHHHHHH!!!
Lust high fives me and smiles.

Berry laughes while patting my back.

"Girl you are lucky!"

I chat about our day and then check my phone for any messages..

I take a long hot bath and get ready for bed when I see I have two missed text messages from Treacherous.

I smile and get in bed turning my phone off and putting it on the charger..

Treacherous was amazing and I never met anyone like that before...............
