All I was getting was silence, so I looked up and saw Niall in a sort of daze. I couldn't help but to laugh, it must have brought him out of it.
"Are you messing with me because you figured out I was the one leaving the messages on your phone?" He asked, that had really caught my attention.
"That was you?" I asked, I pointed an accusing finger at him. He looked like a dear caught in headlights before he answered me.
"Nope..." He said, grabbing his fork. I couldn't help but smile at him trying to lie.
"I'll come back to that, but firstly. I am not messing with you. I am telling the truth about you being my soul mate. Though, it is completely your choice if you want to be, I won't drag you into something you don't want." I tried to reassure him. He took a sip of his wine.
"I want this, I really do. I have since the day you gave me some tea." He told me, I sighed.
"I hear a but coming." I stated while swishing my wine around in the glass.
"Sort of. I just, I don't want to rush into it. You know, I want to see how it's going to be firstly before anything, please?" He asked, looking at me with pleading eyes.
"I am up for whatever you want. I told you I won't pressure you. I just want to make sure we are on the same page, though. So basically dating?" I questioned, he nodded his head. I smiled and then started to eat some of the spaghetti. I noticed Niall look around quickly and lean towards me, I didn't think nothing of it.
"Are you gonna bite me?" He whispered, I ended up choking a little on my food. Once I had it under control, I looked at him as if he was crazy.
"Ni, I don't think this is an appropriate conversation in public." I told him, glancing around.
"Fine, we will talk about it back at the room." Niall mumbles.
"Speaking of talking about a topic later. Now do you want to tell me why you were sending me messages on my own phone and not even signing it?" I asked, twirling my fork to get the food on it.
"Um. Well, you see, remember when Zayn purposed to Perrie?" He reminded me. I nodded my head. "Well, after Perrie asked me to help her plan her wedding, the girls and myself ended up having a texting conversation on different ways to show hints to my feelings. We all came up with it and I went with it."
"Hm. I didn't expect that, but you should have signed it with something to show it was you. I actually thought someone else had my number and was stalking me."
"What random ass person in their right mind is going to stalk a fucking vampire?" He whispered, I just stuck my tongue out at him; he shot me a smile back. I smiled down to my plate; we spent the rest of the dinner have casual conversation. It was mostly casual since we couldn't talk about vampires and such. Right when Niall and I were finishing up on eating, Connor came back.
"Would you two like to order a dessert or would you like the check?" He asked, I looked over at Niall; to silently ask if he wanted anything else. He shook his head, I looked back at Connor.
"I'll just take the check, please." I told him, he nodded his head and cleared up our table. He left and came back with the check; he sat it on the table and walked away. Niall was reaching for it, though, I was faster. I put in the right amount that everything costed and I also left a decent tip. I lead Niall outside towards the valley. They brought around Niall's car and I helped him get in the car before I got in. It was a silent drive back to the hotel. When we made it to the hotel, I parked the car, we made our way into our room. I followed Niall towards the bed, I got his jacket from him and hung mine and his on the couch. I toed off my boots and saw Niall set his shoes against the wall before I joined him at the foot of the bed.
"So are we going to talk about this?" He asked, I looked over at him, to see him fiddling with his fingers.
"Ask me anything and I will answer with complete honesty." I told him, he glanced at me and then looked back at his fingers.
"Have you always known?" He questioned.
"No, I didn't. I actually didn't know until a little bit before we were moving. It made it even more clear when you wouldn't let us leave without you. No matter if you were to get hurt or not. No matter if you had a family there to love you, you still left with people you didn't even know for long just because you knew about Vampires?" I ended in a question. I saw a light shade of pink light up his pale face.
"I don't know, I just couldn't let you leave." He mumbled, I smiled and reached out for his hand. I interlocked our fingers, looking at how well they had fit together.
"That's the bond that vampire's have to their soul mates. They don't want to leave, though if they have to, they will. Though, their soul mate usually will fight to come along with." I said, while scooting closer. So now we were sort of shoulder to shoulder, thigh to thigh.
"You know how Zayn bit Perrie, or Liam bit Dani, the same with Lou and El?" He asked, I nodded my head. "Are you going to end up doing that to me?"
"I won't if you don't want it. I know it's not really a gift, I just don't want to pressure you into having it." I told him, he nodded his head. "Do you even want to become a vampire, Ni?"
"I don't know, ask in a while and I will be able to tell you. I just, don't want to rush into stuff." He said, looking up towards me before resting his head on my shoulder. I leaned my head against his forehead.
"The girls are going to be so ecstatic about this. I already know the guys are going to pull be aside and have a long talking to me." I couldn't help but laugh out, Niall joined in for a second because we both knew it was true.
"I am actually looking forward to this. Along with helping Perrie plan the wedding. It's going to be amazing!" He exclaimed, lifting his head to look at me. I couldn't help myself from getting lost into his blue eyes. "Harry, what are our plans for tomorrow?" He asked.
"Um.. I thought I could go show you around and then take you on a proper date, though, nothing too fancy." I send him a cheeky smile.
"Alright, well, then. I'm gonna get ready for bed. I want to see you're hometown during the day." He told me before he stood up and let go of my hand, I playfully pouted. He just smiled and then started to strip down to his boxers. I followed his lead to get down to our boxers before crawling into bed. He was waiting for me.
"What? Already wanting to cuddle? One the first night? Sorry, but I ain't that easy." I joked, he playfully pushed before cuddling closer to my chest. I tightly wrapped my arms around his waist.
"Good night, Harry." Niall mumbled against my bare chest, I couldn't suppress the shiver that ran through me.
"Good night, Ni." I told him before kissing the crown of his head. I heard his breathing even out. I squeezed him even tighter to my body before falling asleep myself with a smile played on my lips.
