Authors Note. There a some mistakes here and there in the story. I will go and fix them but until then, bear with me? Thanks lovelies! :)
So my name is Skyler Elliot. Everyone calls me Sky. The name suits me because my head is always up in the clouds. And yes I am Ethan Elliot's younger sister. I'm sure you have his posters on your bedroom wall. What's it like to be related to such a person? It's great. Most of the time.
Me and Ethan have always been close, always. Our parents died when we were both toddlers so we were raised by our grandparents. We didn't mind, I mean it sucked not knowing who our parents were and all but we didn't know them so we couldn't really feel too distraught over it. Our grandparents made sure we had good lives growing up. Ethan graduated a year before me, he moved out to hollywood and made it big. I mean of course he did, who would turn down my brother?
He's got those hollywood looks and he's a charmer. I myself just graduated highschool and I'm preparing to move out to stay with Ethan. Our grandparents are going on a cruise. It's one of those elderly ones that lasts a couple months. It's suppose to be a relaxer or something. I don't mind I'm actually excited to go with Ethan. We saw each other at christmas but that was it. He was busy with that TV show I'm sure every teenager in america watches. He flew in two days before my graduation so we could hang out.
We live in Colorado. My grandparents own this really neat horse ranch. So it'll be different. We went shopping yesterday so I have clothes for California. I was excited to see what Los Angeles was like. And it helps that my brother is friends with some of the hottest guys on earth.
"Sky are you almost done?" Ethan asked walking in and flopping on my bed. I rolled my eyes and placed my last shirt in my last suit case. I had a bunch of them. I mean I'm going to Los Angeles to stay for a few months. I'm not going empty handed.
"Just finished."
I'm glad that I didn't really have any friends here. I mean I had "friends" but no best friends. Because Ethan was always my best friend. Has always been my best friend. This last year was rough though. Everyone wanted to be my best friend suddenly because of my brother. But to no prevail I kept to myself. I didn't mind. It helped me graduate with a 3.9 GPA.
"Let's get food." He shot up and smiled.
"I don't want to go into town with you! I'm tired of the girls I went to school with hounding you. And me honestly." I groaned and he laughed.
"Fast food. You drive. I'll hide in the backseat." he wiggled his eyebrows and grinned a huge goofy grin.
"Fine." I grabbed my car keys and we went out to my beat up Land Rover. It was cute. He hopped in the passenger seat and I rolled my eyes. Backseat my butt. I started the car and drove off to Taco Bell. Tomorrow morning we get on the plane and go to California. My grandparents left yesterday for their cruise. When we got back home I parked and we went in and devoured our food while watching some horrible remake of a once amazing movie. When that movie was over I switched channels and Ethan's tv show was on.
He hated watching himself. I thought it was cool. It was one of the only ways I got to see my brother when he was gone. Well when he couldn't skype. Or face time.
"Sky shut it off!" He grumbled covering his face in a pillow. I laughed and turned it off. It was already 9 anyways.
"I'm gonna go to bed. We gotta be at the airport around 8." I said and walked to my room. I set my alarm and went to sleep.
When I woke up the next morning I quickly showered. When I got done in the shower I wrapped up in a towel and then dried my hair. When I was all dry I put on a pair of white shorts and a casual vneck tee. I lightly curled my hair and applied some makeup. Deoderant was next with a spritz or two of my signature scent, Incredible from Victoria Secret.
