Dan's POV ---

I open my wardrobe door. I grab a grey t shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans. As I pull on the tight jeans, I see my reflection in the mirror. You are hopelessly unfit. I sigh to myself. You shouldn't have eaten that entire pancake.

With another mighty sigh, I pull my t shirt on over my head and leave the room. Audrey's nowhere to be seen. I'm about to go look for her when the bathroom door swings open.

"There you are Aud-" I come to a halt when I recognize the figure in the door not to be Audrey, but Phil, in nothing but a loose towel.

Phil's POV ---

Ahh, what a refreshing shower, I think as I wrap the towel around my waist. Maybe I can go watch some Buffy on the couch. I fling open the door and JUST MY CRAPPY LUCK, Dan is standing RIGHT THERE.

It's a miracle Dan decided to put some clothes on or there would be a serious issue here.

"There you are Aud-" he stops when he realizes it's me. I feel a blush creeping up my neck as he just stands there, staring silently at me with an odd look in his eye.

Dan's POV ---

Damn it, Phil. I groan silently. There he is, his black hair a ruffled mess on his head, wearing nothing but a towel. His blue eyes are wide with shock, and he looks utterly trapped, like a deer in headlights.

We just stand here like this, staring at each other, for an eternity, until finally Audrey's bedroom door flies open.

She stares at me, then at Phil. Audrey and Phil make eye contact, sharing a secret conversation.

"Um, Phil... Can I talk to you in here for a minute?"

Phil nods his head hurriedly and rushes off to follow Audrey into her room. I, standing here still shell shocked, watch the door slam shut behind them.
