Tamara's POV
I was unpacking my boxes because I had just moved into a small house in a town called Mystic Falls, I was to busy getting the rest of the boxes out of my car to notice a girl my age walked up to me "Hi I'm Caroline Forbes you must be Tamra!" She smiles at me I put my boxes down and stood straight "Hi yes but please call me Mara" I replied and smiled back "Well I came to welcome you to the neighborhood because I'm your neighbor my mums working she's the sheriff" Caroline smiled and rambled on, I smiled "Cool, My dad started work at the school today he's an English teacher" I smile, she giggles and I give her a confused look "Wouldn't it be weird to have your dad as your teacher" she asked, I shook my head "What about your mum?" Caroline asked, I stop and look at her "She um died in a fire..." I said sadly, guilt struck across her face "Oh my god! I'm so sorry" she apologized and hugged me "It's okay you didn't know" I smile and pull away, Caroline smiles "Hey your cute want to grab some lunch sometime and I can also show you around?" Caroline smiles, I smile and blush "Uh thanks, your cute too and sure I'd love to see all of Mystic Falls and get to know you" I reply, "Well I'll let you unpack, it was great meeting you Mar" Caroline smiled, I nodded and smiles and she walked back to her house and I walked back into my house with my boxes and put them in the living room and fell on the couch and fell asleep.
                      *The Next Morning*
I woke up to my alarm clock, I get up and walk up to my room and get ready, after I got ready I grabbed my backpack, phone and keys and ran outside and lock the house "Hey Caroline!" I yelled and waved at Caroline she smiled and waved back "You want a lift!?" I asked her she nodded and ran to my house we hugged and I smiled and blushed and we got into my car and I started it up, "This is a nice car" She complimented my car, I smile -Thank you my mum got her for me on my 14th birthday but said I couldn't drive it until I'm 16" -I chuckle- "You up for some breakfast before school?" I ask Caroline and smile, She smile and nods "Do you know where to go?" She asked, I smile "Nope" we both laugh and she shoes me the way to Mystic Grill when we get there we go inside and sit down and order our breakfast and coffee "So tell me about yourself Mara" Caroline says, I look at her and smile "Ok I'm 16 turning 17 this month I live with my dad I love music and YouTube, I like girls a lot and my favorite colour is blue and purple and red my favorite foods are Pizza, Strawberries, Grapes, Apple and Hamburgers, What about you?" I smile, she looks at me and smiles "Well I'm Caroline Forbes and I live with my mum my dad left mum for a man but I still see him I'm 16 turning 17 this month to and my favorite colour is pink and purple and red and I love ice cream and pizza and strawberries and I'm into girls and boys. And I can already tell we are going to get along very well" Caroline smirks seductively and winks, I blush and she laughs.
