Share the Light

A weary traveler continues down the path,
Following the whispers of the wind.
He sees not the hardships of those around him,
But the joys the Earth has provided.

He doesn't see a child being locked up for a crime,
But a young soul changing and transforming.
He sees the light at the end of the tunnel
And the sun rising each morning.

He opens his heart to the sorrowful
And praises the good deeds of young men.
He listens to the calls of the old and weary
And brings them comfort,
For they are not alone.

He follows the path of the righteous,
And he makes the most of every day.
He wanders the earth picking up lost souls
And shows them the light of a new day.

He wants everyone to share their light.
He wants them to be happy every day.
Even though life has many hardships
That doesn't mean we should let it fade away.
