New Companion

"Um Hi. I am Jenna Coleman and I would like to audition for the role,"Clara Oswald."

Amy had texted. We had became best friends on Monday which was great.
Amy- You ready? 😜

Jenna- Yeah I'll be out in a bit.

Amy was at my door step. She had started walking with me too, she didn't live very far from me which was even better than walking by my lonesome.

"Physics physiicccss ." Mr Tennant had started saying at the beginning of class. I didn't like physics really.

I always said," When I am older I want to be an actress." Time to make that dream a reality.

I saw a poster when I was going home. I smoothed my hand over the thin paper to see what it had said."BBC  is looking for a new companion for Doctor Who." Well it sounds like I could at least try.

Next Friday were the auditions. I had been in plays before at school and had 234 lines. But this was different.

Friday
I was patiently waiting in the middle of a line. Some people while they were auditioning were fan- girling after they had auditioned. Finally, I had calmly walked into the stage to be greeted with 2 faces. Matt Smith and Steven Moffat. I watch Doctor Who and knew that Matt was the Doctor and Steven was the writer. "Um Hi. I am Jenna Coleman and I would like to audition for the role of Clara Oswald."
"Show us what you've got." Steven said.
Taking a deep breath I spoke the words I had remembered. "Run you clever boy, and remember."I had spoken those words really well that it actually felt as if I were actually Clara Oswald.

Matt turned towards Steven and whispered," She's really good at this."
Steven agreed. After the auditions all of  us were taken to a room including me.
"We have made our decision about who the next companion is of Doctor Who." A lot of people started crossing their fingers, but me I knew I wouldn't get it.

"Jenna Louise Coleman!" Matt exclaimed while staring at me the whole time while they were talking. I just couldn't believe it. I smiled and got excited while I was being announced as the new companion.
Some people got mad, others were cheering.
"Good Job Jenna!" "Your really good at this!" I had to smile when they said those particular comments.

Before I left, Steven handed me a script. Dalek Asylum was the episode that I was going to be in. Amy (my friend ) was the current companion and she wanted to leave. We were in the same episode but I had a couple scenes. That was only the beginning.
