CHAPTER 1!
"EMILY!' my orphanage mother screamed. i jumped. i hate ms. Rose... i slowly walked out of my dull, but yet comforting room, and down the creekey stairs to see a couch full of 5 boys. i start to shake as i approach them. "Emily, these boys would like to adopt you!" she said acting excited for me.
i know she hates me though... everyone does. i hear the sound of a throat clearing and it snaps me out of my day dream. it is the boy dressed in a red and white striped shirt with suspenders. "HI!!! IM LOUIS!!!!!" he screams at me. i am so shocked by this i drop to my knees and cover my head in a protective way. the boys are so shocked by this too that they drop to thier knees with me.
i start so whimper with fright as they try to sooth me by rubbing my back. "Love? are you ok?" i continue to whimper as i say "please.. please dont hurt me..." i hear 5 small gasps and look up to see 5 shocked faces. "Love... why would we hurt you?" said the one with the curly mop on his head. i looked up at them with tears brimming my eyes and said "Because he yelled at me..." i said as i looked at the one who scared me
all four boys looked at him in frustration. he looked at me very sincerely and said "Love i am so sorry i gave you a fright. i promise i wont ever yell in front of you ever again" i slowly nodded and straightened.
"anyway.. why dont you all introduce your selves while i get some lunch ready!" ms. rose says as she leaves the room.
i sit as far away from the one who yelled at me as possible "so love whats your name?" said the one with the quiff. "um.. im.. im.. emily" i stutter still thinking WHY 5 boys wanted to adopt me.
they all look at me with these big puppy dog eyes "well thats the most beautiful name ive ever heard for such a beautiful girl" i couldnt help but blush at that comment they all smiled as they saw the blush.
"wha.. what are your na.. names?" i ask almost controlling my stuttering
"well im Zayn" the one with the quiff.. ok emily remember that
"and im Harry" the one with the mop
"liam" the one with the tattoo. ok emily just 2 more
"im louis" i saw as he carefully controlled his voice
ok last one emily "and im niall but you can call me nialler if you want"
i was about to say something when ms. Rose came in the room with a tray full of food. "help your selves boys!" ms. Rose said. they all looked at ms. Rose then at me "come here emily you can have mine i dont want it anyway." Said Liam. Knowing if they didn't want to adopt me and I took the food I will be punished by ms. Rose later.
"No. No it's ok. I'm not hungry anyway." I say to the boys as they look at my tiny body.
"Um, ms. Rose can all 5 of us talk to you in another room alone?" She looked at me then the boys "yes. Of course"
They walk off into another room, and about five minutes later they all come out and look at me.
"Emily, guess what darling?"
"What?" I say in the slightest voice
"Your coming home with us!" They all say in unison.
My eyes widen with fright. Why, was all I could think. Why? Why would five young boys wanna adopt a 7 year old freak like me?
"Emily." Ms. Rose says "why don't you take the boys up to your room so they can help you pack" she says to me
I nod in agreement. All of the boys but the one who scared me, Louis, went with ms. Rose. I guess to sign some paper work.
I take them up to my room and start taking all of my things out if drawers and start putting them on my bed. I go in my closet and take out my suite case and put it on my bed too.
"You know when you get to our home, your new home, your rooms gonna be a lot better." Zayn says. All of the other boys nod.
I continue packing. "Here love, why don't we help you pack." Niall says and goes into one of my drawers. I stop him before he opens it up.
"What? What's wrong?" He says
"Just... Just not that drawer." I say hoping they will understand.
Liam is the first to understand "Ahhh..." He says "what drawers CAN we go into?" He asks.
I point them to the one other drawer that I have. They open it and take out what little clothes I have in there.
"Why don't you have many clothes Emily?" Harry asks me
I keep packing "because ms. Rose doesn't like me and doesn't like to spend money on me" I say a little hurt in my voice.
Liam looks at me and says "well when your living with us, we are going to spoil you a lot! We will spend as much money on you as you want!" Liam says.
I grab my suit case and start to walk out of my room but zayn grabs my suitcase before I can walk out of my door with it.
We walk downstairs and meet Louis and ms. Rose at the bottom of the stairs.
"Alright are you ready, love?" Niall asks me.
I take in a deep breath and look at my new family "yeah" I say and we walk out of the door.
