Awwwww fuck. Student Government, how do I even start, well let's start with this, I'm running for president. I remember my slogan "We don't build hope, we build futures". I teamed up with another candidate for Vice Presidency, Gabriel Garcia. We both promised that we will work our campaign together. We made posters for each other, and read our speeches together. That was a fun time. I ran against 4 candidates, all of them in fact were girls. Alexa Sparta, Jasmine wood, Sophia Calavero, and Sotiera lee. It was school Election Day, and me and Gabriel high fived eachother to celebrate our campaign. We posted our votes to the ballot, and all we had to do now is wait. It was the end of the day, the dismissal announcements were on, our principal said "Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please. We have our results of today's school election." I thought to myself "this is it, this has been a great campaign." I said good luck to Gabriel. The principal said "The Vice President of student government is, Gabriel Garcia" Everyone cheered, I high fived him and said congrats. He said "thank you, good luck" the principal continued and said "And your President of the student government is, Miguel Aguilar" Everyone cheered. I was shooked. I cried of happiness, the teacher saw me and hugged me, she said "Congrats"! I'm the first boy president in 8 years! That was a great day, but everything came crashing down.
