Everything's Strange in Strangetown (A Sims 2 Fanfiction)

Author's Notes/Character Introductions

Here we go with some pre-story Author's Notes.

First of all, even though this is a Sims 2 fanfiction, I'm not going to have the Sims just walking around speaking in Simlish, screaming at fires, and following the exact game's logic. I'll probably put in some fun Sims logic references, but this is really supposed to be based on the storyline as seen in 2, and my take on it from when I replayed TS2 a while ago. I'm pretty sure everybody was already aware of this, but I might as well say it anyway.

Next, let's talk about the world. While it the story takes place the fictional town Strangetown, this won't be limited to just the neighborhood. I'll include the sub-neighborhoods seen in TS2 as well as Pleasantview (especially because its story is connected with Strangetown), and Veronaville. Neighborhoods/towns from The Sims 3 and 4 will be included, or at least mentioned as well.

In addition, I'll say that this takes place in a fictional version of the United States. Strangetown is in Rosweller (Fictional New Mexico), Veronaville should be in Siciliano (Fictional California), and Pleasantview should be in Winslow (Fictional Iowa). Please excuse the weird names, I kind of pulled them out of my ass.

Let's check out the characters now. I'll just introduce the (hopefully) major characters in this storyline, whether they actually appear or they are mentioned a lot. Most of the households from the Sims 2 will just contain their main blurbs.

Lily Fredricks - Our main protagonist. Lily Fredricks is a total party animal. When she's not working or sleeping, she's out trying to meet new people and just simply have a good time. It isn't surprising that her aspiration involves pleasure. Lily is really into the mysteries of Strangetown. Knowing how absurd these mysteries are, will she be met with disappointment?

The Curious Brothers - In search of truth and mystery, the Curious brothers got more than they were "expecting." Can Pascal, Lazlo, and Vidcund cope with their new roles as cosmic parents?

Smith Family - After a fruitful career, Pollination Technician 9 has retired to his favorite planet. But can his son Johnny make friends and fit in, or is this family just too strange for Strangetown?

Goth Family - The richest Sims of Pleasantview, Winslow. How has Mortimer been coping since the disappearance of his beloved Bella? Will Cassandra safely enter adulthood? Will Alexander grow up to be gloomy after losing his mother figure?
