Gavin's POV
Once I went in, I started coughing. There's dust everywhere, on the floor, on the tables, on the chairs, even on the sink. All the others(except for Jay, Kiara, Sofia and Mavi) went in. "Geez, it's so dirty here." Fiona said. "Well, let's get this over with. Gavin clean the floors, Fiona fix the windows, Kian dust everything, and I'll fix the roof." Crystal said and left.
I sighed deeply. I don't really like cleaning, scratch that, I hate cleaning. I got a broom that was leaning against the wall and started sweeping the floor. Kian disappeared and Fiona flew off, ugh why did you guys leave me? This is so boring 😫.
(TIME SKIP TO WHEN THEY FINISH)
Finally I was done, the floor was finally squeaky clean. Kian finished dusting and Fiona was done fixing the windows. "Where's Crystal?" I asked. "Boo!" Crystal jumped on my back. "Ahhhhhhhhh!" I screamed then fell. "Why do you keep on doing that?" I said and brushed myself off. "I dunno, it's just fun to scare people, especially you and Jay. You guys have the best reactions." She shrugged and went outside. ._. I really don't get her sometimes.
The rest of us followed her outside. "So, how's the house?" Kiara asked. "It's in better shape now," Kian said then she nodded. "This is just the start, guys. Just the start of a new life." She said then walked away. What's with people leaving me. First Kian, then Fiona, next is Crystal, now Kiara?" I ranted but everyone just chuckled 🙄. Geez, why am I friends with them again?
(TIME SKIP TO NIGHT)
Me and my friends were sitting under the moonlight watching the stars. "They're so pretty," Fiona looked in awe. Kian and Kiara were doing constellations, Jay, Sofia, Fiona and Mavi were playing, and Crystal just say there, quiet and still. She looked deep in thought. I decided to sit beside her and talk with her.
"Hey Crystal, what you thinkin' about?" I asked. "Huh? Oh um nothing." She said. "You know you can tell me anything, right?" I reassured her. She hesitated before speaking. "I'm just thinking about my parents." "Oh, I see." I nodded. She looked like she was about to cry so I didn't ask her anymore questions. "Hey, you don't need to cry Crystal, we'll be able to save them. Just not now." I told her and rubbed her back. "Thank you for saying that Gavin." "No problem."
I looked behind me and saw Jay, Sofia, Mavi, Fiona, Kian and Kiara sleeping soundly. Soon, I felt a weight on my shoulder. I looked back and saw Crystal sleeping. I smiled and decided to sleep too. I fixed Crystal's head on my shoulder and closed my eyes. Darkness soon took over and I was taken to dreamland.
