I sat in hayls room worried as she was in the shower running a hand through my hair sitting on the edge of her bed. Close to an hour
Later she came out in some shorts and the hoodie I had had on earlier and I smile softly loving how she looked until my eyes landed on her face and I could tell she'd been crying in that washroom instantly up wrapping my arms around her holding her tightly rubbing her back "baby it'll be okay, I'm not going to let anyone lay another hand on you and I promise I'll protect you with everything in me " kissing her head I feel the fresh tears soak my shirt wanting to go kill the guy for putting her in a state like this but I knew I couldn't. Specially since hayls needed me right now so I walked us to her bed and pulled back the covers helping her lay down. Once she was comfortable I climbed in beside her after slipping off my shirt pulling her close to me her head hidden in my chest out legs intertwining as I pulled the blankets over us drawing patterns on her back. She's so tiny I felt I had to keep her safe she was fragile and she'd been hurt more then id like to have happened. So I stayed with her both of us laid comfortably in her bed as I eventually noticed her breathing settled and she had fallen asleep myself soon after her.
