reunited

Kanan and Ezra walked through the woods on their way to the Ghost pack's location. Flying wasn't an option for their injury's and Kanan's eye. Ezra had asked how it happened and if Kanan would ever see our of it again. Unfortunately, Kanan would be forever blind in his eye. He explained how the wound happened and Ezra snarled to himself.

"I'll kill Maul" he growled.

"Sorry, I bet you to it" Kanan chuckled.

Ezra smiled at Kanan then rubbed his face against the Alpha's.

"I'm so glad you're back" he purred.

"Same with you" Kanan replied.

"Hey, I was gonna ask you about that. How was I resurrected?"

"I think it was my tears. Normally dragon tears are clear but mine were golden."

"Golden huh? I think my parents told me about something like that. Golden Dragon Tears apparently can only be shed by Force Wielders."

"Huh, I never knew that" Kanan told him.

He suddenly grunted in pain and held a paw over the cut on his chest.

"Are you alright?" Ezra asked in worry.

"I'm fine kid. It just stings a little" Kanan replied.

Ezra gazed at Kanan in concern as the two pressed on.

"What?" Kanan asked, seeing Ezra looking at him.

"I'm still confused. How did you manage to survive that fall in the cavern?"

Kanan looked at the ground.

"It's a long story. It's best if I tell it to everyone instead of having to repeat it."

Ezra nodded and the two continued through the woods.

"We have to find him, Ezra could be in serious danger and we can't help him!" Hera said anxiously, pacing back and forth.

"Hera we all want find Ezra, believe me. But we could be going up against a completely new threat here" Sabine reasoned.

"Ezra's family! We can't just turn our backs on him! I consider him my own son! We've already lost Kanan, I don't want to lose anyone else!"

Hera suddenly stopped abruptly, she was shaking slightly as her breathing became short.

"Hera?" Ahsoka asked.

The pale green dragon looked round at them, a single tear rolling down her face. Ahsoka instantly went over to the alpha and put her wings around her.

"I know you want to find him Hera, we all do" she whispered as Hera buried her face in Ahsoka's shoulder.

"Hey guys!"

Hera's head jolted out of Ahsoka's shoulder and the entire Ghost pack looked round. They saw a blue dragon standing at the edge of the forest. A blue dragon that looked rather familiar.

"Sorry to keep you waiting!" Ezra smiled.

"I...I don't believe it" Hera stared.

Ezra looked over his shoulder and Kanan walked out into the light. The Ghost Pack's breaths caught and Hera looked like she was about to faint.

"K-Kanan?" She stuttered.

Kanan's expression softened and walked forward.

"Am I dreaming?" Hera whispered also moving closer.

"No, I'm right here" Kanan promised.

The two dragons were ten feet away from one another.

"And I'm not going anywhere."

Hera lunged at Kanan and buried her face into his neck. Kanan instantly put his wings and claws around her and the two stayed like that for at least a minute. They drew away from one another, smiling slightly. Then Hera gasped.

"What happened to your eye?" She asked.

"Long story. I'll tell you everything" Kanan promised.

Ezra smiled as he watched Hera and Kanan reunite. He had to admit, it was really heart warming.

"EZRA!!!"

The cub looked round in surprise and was tackled by an overjoyed Zeb, Chopper and Sabine.

"We missed you so much!" Sabine said half laughing, half crying.

"We thought you died you numbskull!" Zeb exclaimed.

"Never run off again" Chopper begged.

The next ten minutes was full of tears, hugs, and joy as the Ghost Pack were reunited. Kanan explained the battle with Maul and how he won.

"Kanan?" Sabine asked when the green dragon finished his battle story. 

"How did you escape that cavern alive?"

"Right, I did say to Ezra I would explain that. Just to let you know, there's some parts even I don't understand" Kanan replied.

"Well, start telling us Kanan" Chopper said impatiently.

"Okay well, when Ezra kicked me off the cliff, I was falling through never ending darkness..."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
