A Hike in the Woods

Into The Woods

On a beautiful summer night, Larissa and I are in our tent after a bond fire and fun and games with our families, but later are haunted by a horrible noise.

                                                               *******************************

A few hours later-

"Ahhhhhhahhhhuhhhh!"

"Larissa! Did you hear that?" I said waking up.

"Jade it was nothing! Go to sleep." She said  irritated .

But it was something. I could feel it.

I grabbed my flashlight, my boots, my jacket, and started unzipping the tent.

"Where are you going, Jade?"

"Out to the woods."

"Okay, I'll go. Let me get ready."

Once she was ready, we went into the woods to  figure out what that sound was. 

"Ahhugh! Help my baby! Honey are you alright? Honey? Help!" Came the  mysterious voice.

Hmm, I thought, it sounds like a woman in need.

"Come on Larissa! We have to help her!" I said.

"Okay Hurry!" 

We  ran towards the voice and found the woman on her knees sobbing. 

"Are  you okay?" I ask the woman.

 She continued to sob.  Behind me I hear the crunching of leaves. I turned to see a man with a gun pointing at us and the woman now  laughing evilly.   There was the deafening sound of a gunshot, the darkness.

 I hear a siren in the background, then someone saying "Wake up Jade, it's morning."

 It was just a dream.
