Karmen's POV

I looked down at my phone. I swore I recognized this phone number...I must be thinking of someone else. I texted them saying, "hey, got your note" and locked my phone while Jay and I walked to our next class.

Jay keeps glancing at me. I don think he texted me because most  his classes are in a college. He would have finished highschool 2 years ago but our school gave him the option of free college classes and still taking extra classes here. I don't know why he took it because he's getting an almost  fully paid scholarship to some nice school.

Jay is incredibly smart if you haven't noticed. He just isn't the most social. He's really been put under pressure by his parents to do good. So when his parents started to push him into entertainment, he didn't do good and now he just play video games. In all honesty we only became friends through video games. He has a weird kind of confidence with video games and  he's really shy outside of them.

After science, I only have my last class, Art. In the last five minutes of science I start to get impatient. Art has always been my favorite next to history.
As the bell rings I sprint out of the classroom and down the hall and througdh the school doors. My art class got a lot of Money from a famous artist that went to our school a few years ago so we got our own art studio, except last year kids started to leave and now we only have 10 kids from our grade for art. It's better because we get a lot more freedom to do what we want, as long as it's associated with art.

I walk in, waving to Ms.Varnes. she waves and smiles, "Hi Karmen, are you working on your 'end of the year' project today?"
"Yeah, at this rate, it will be finished around a month before school ends"
"Then we can plan on when to reveal it to the school"
I walked to my studio. Since there were so few students for our grade, we got to have our own studio, but we also had to share it with other grades. I had to do a lot more work than it was worth to be able to get the other students to back off of my studio.

I walk in, looking at the room. I really made it a mess since I started my project. The smell of slowly drying paint and spray paint are in the air. If you didn't know any better, you'd think my project was the studio. I looked over at the first part of my project. It was a beautiful sunset made only by hand made Christmas lights. The sky was painted using 30 different shades of blue, and I had to buy a majority of myself. It was the size of my studio wall, which was about the size of a classroom wall. The tiny lights were water resistant, and with my wires, hopefully efficient. The sky would be illuminated by the sunset so I wouldn't have to worry about how I would look in the dark. I had two more parts of the project before I was finished. I went over to my desk and pulled out my sketches for the design. The first part was physically the hardest, and this one would be mentally the hardest.
My ideas were good. But not good enough. My first was our mascot, the unicorn and make it statue in front of the sun. My second was to make pictures of every student this year and turn it into a picture of a unicorn, but that wouldn't have coordinated with the sunset. I had plenty of ideas but none were good enough. I went out of my studio, rubbing my forehead. I accidentally walked into Jamie, one of my classmates.
"Hey Karmen, how's your project going?"
"Eh. Could be better if this damn head of mine would focus."
"Oh. Maybe if you worked on another project other than that one, your head would be more focused." Jamie laughed.
"Your right." I said smirking, "Thanks Jamie."

I went to where we all kept our computers and looked at my instabam. Last year we all made an art account to see how well we would do posting our art. I had around 300 followers, and posted everything from huge art projects to sketches that took 10 minutes. I hadn't posted in a while so I grabbed a recent water color painting and set it down under the lamp and took a photo.

((I did not do this art, I just googled xD))

What type of water color I used,  but it was nothing special. At first this was a forgotten sketch, but I thought it would look good if I painted it using watercolor. I'm currently working on my huge 'end of the year' project so don't expect me to post all the time but I'll try.
