Chapter 9

The girl was cleaning up, after they were done eating.

As she was walking back to the living room.

She noticed the weird atmosphere.

It was quiet.

She slowly walked in.

And POW!!

A cake came flying into her face.

"Ahh!!"
The girl yelled, surprised.

Then they all started laughing.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!"
Everyone else yelled.

After the girl washed up, she had to finish her homework.

She had a hard time.

Since the topic was Korean.

"Argh"
She said to herself.

JungKook knocked on her door.

The girl looked over.

She saw JungKook.

JungKook: May I come in?

Girl: Yeah.

JungKook: Here, I brought you some water. Are you stressing over your homework?

Girl: No.
(She lied.)

JungKook: Okay, well if you need any help, you can always ask me.

Girl: Araso.

JungKook looked at her papers.

He saw the things he already learned from high school.

He smiled.

Girl: What?

JungKook: You did that wrong.

Girl: Huh?
(She said looking at her paper.)

JungKook: Its suppose to be ________.

Girl: Ah, I knew that.
(She said quickly changing her answer.)

JungKook: That ones also wrong.

Girl: What?!! I thought all of these were right.

JungKook laughed.

JungKook: Here, let me help you.
(He said sitting next to her, he grabbed her pencil and slowly taught her.)

The girl only looked at JungKook.

JungKook: Okay. Now do you understand?
(He said facing the girl.)

They were about 1 inch away from each other.

They both looked at each other in the eyes.

JungKook slowly got closer.

And he slowly tilted his head.

He slowly closed his eyes.

The girl quickly pushed his chest away.

She cleared her throat.

Girl: Okay! Thank you for the help, I totally understand now. You can leave. Thank you.
(She said fast, as she quickly pushed JungKook out.)

Once JungKook was outside.

She sighed.

She felt her cheeks.

It was burning hot.
