"You know Dan?" I asked, curious, as we sat by each other. "Has he sent you to me?" I looked at Aster with expecting eyes. Dan said it was not over and he would not give up. So he did send someone for me.

"Now, let me see. I know you from Dan but he didn't particularly ask me to see you." He mused. I was disappointed. "I'm here on official duty." He smiled.

I looked down at the ground. "Oh!...I thought you had a message from him." I sighed. Aster eyed me for a while before speaking again.

"I don't know about a message but I am absolutely certain my little brother misses his old friend a lot." I looked up only to see him smiling at me. I jerked my head to look at him.

Of course! How could I forget? Dan had an elder brother! I missed the resemblance. Same hair. Same eyes. I was so stupid!

"I know you! Dan told me a lot about you." I said, twisting my body to face him. He was the person Dan adored the most.

"Only the bad parts I'm sure." He chuckled.

"No, No, Not at all." I shook my head. "Dan told me that you were a genius. He talks about you with awe. He idolizes you." I explained in a single breath.

"Does he now?" he mused and started laughing. "Then I'm highly obliged, ma'am. I'll definitely remember to thank him at home." he mocked.

My cheeks turned red. There was definitely something between them I wasn't aware of and it looked like I did reveal a part of Dan he didn't show at home.

I changed the subject. "You said you were on official duty, right? What work do you have here?" I asked, remembering there sudden visit. If not Dan, then there had to be another reason.

"If you say you know about me then I assume you know who I work for." He looked at me questioningly. I nodded. I knew he worked for the Wind's Security Force under his father. "I'm Lord Harrenz's guard." He smiled.

So he was here for Lord Harrenz's security. That's why he had to obey all his commands. He was a soldier.

"And why is Sir Lord here?" I asked.

"He doesn't discuss his work with me Celestia." he winked.

I went red again. Why did I have to ask something so obvious? How would he know! He was only there as a protector.

"I'm so stupid." I looked down at the ground again. Aster chuckled which made me even more embarrassed.

"Cela!" I jumped at Uncle Gen's call. The meeting was finally over which meant I had to return to my cell again.

We got up from the ground. I didn't want to go back just yet. I was just starting to feel free again. The sheer thought of spending the rest of my day under the scrutiny of the four walls of my room killed me inside.

"It's okay." Aster kept a hand on my shoulder. "Things are going to change Celestia. You don't have to be sad." I hadn't realized I was crying again. I looked at him with watery eyes. He was smiling again and somehow it was reassuring. I felt safe again. It was like meeting Dan again.

He bent to whisper in my ear. "And you know what, I'm not sure about Dan but I do have a message for you." I turned to him. His face was inches from mine. He put a hand behind my head and pulled me closer so that our foreheads touched. I closed my eyes. "You will never be alone again Celestia because you now have a friend and...an elder brother." My eyes jerked open and all I could see was a warm smile stretched across his face before he let me go. I stood there trying to take in whatever Aster had just said.
