A building lay underneath Earth itself. Comprised of metal and wires, it offers refuge to the owner and its creator. The sound of scrapping and clanking metal can be heard as said owner moves around. The owner is none other than the mighty Doctor Octavius. Or once mighty you should say. Doctor Octavius was now in his elder age. His white long hair dripping over his face, wrinkles that heavily landscapped his pale wrinkled face. And a rather large set of rectangular reading glasses rested on his eyes. Doctor Octavius had passed his prime. He was the only villain who was fortunate enough not to be caught by spiderman. All the others were locked up or had died trying to put up a fight. Spiderman along with help from friends had launched a all out battle against the villains of the world. The good Doctor being down in a bunker speaks all. The doctor himself was currently heading towards his work place. The doctor himself often built his robots to keep up with the labratory and provide security. Times his right shoulder arm had been on the fritz lately. The doctor approaches the sliding opening door and was greeted with a face that kept him company throughout the years.
Doc's pov
"Alex, my son, would you mind helping your father out?" My son turned his head from the metallic table he was working at to me with a smile on his face. "Sure thing pop, whats troubling you ?" "My right shoulder am has been acting strangely, could you possibly reset it for me?" Alex looked my arm to me to my arm again and back to me again. "Of course, let me just get my tools." My son headed off towards an area looking for his tool case. Alex was my adopted son. I found him abandoned in some rubble from an old building. I decided to take him in and raise him as my own. For 17 years I have raised him and he has turned out rather well. Pale skin, Shaggy black hair that was ling enough to drap in his eyes, the color of which were green, around my height if not taller( look for reference in the spiderman movie) and a good personality. Despite being raised in a bunker basically. Alex quickly returns to my side and begins to look over my arm with a fined tooth comb. After a quick readjustment my arm is up to 100% efficeny. "Thank you son, you have helped me greatly." "No problem pop, I'm happy to help." "By the way, I think you'll enjoy your birthday present I've gotten you." My son's face brightens up so much, the sun would be jealous. "No way, what is it!?" "You'll have to wait." "No fair!" And with that said I walk out of the room down my hallway. The robots can wait another day. My son is about to turn 18. I made him a deal long ago that when he reaches that age, he could visit the outside world. The outside world with: with people and cars and buildings and.......spiderman. I pause in my walk to recollect that day. I was utterly defeated and humiliated because of him. My anger begins to boil over like a pot full of water. I slam my tentacle arm into the ground and cause a huge crumpled up dent to appear in the floor. One day Spiderman, I'll have revenge, one day.
