Alex's POV

"I need to catch up on the last three episodes of Riverdale" I say and Crystal laughs. "Veronica is soooo pretty, I'd hi—" my sentence was cut off.

"Uh uh! No boy talk in my room, Sir" Erin points a finger at me. I put my hands up in surrender.

"But why would she do that?!" I yell out as the episode comes to an end. "I actually agree with you! The Black-Hooded dude is dangerous! So why would she reveal the sugar-man's identity and TELL the hooded dude she's coming for him? HER ASS IS GRASS, MY DUDE!" Erin exclaims.

Crystal is sleep. An—

Wait? She sleep?

"Crystal! Get yo arse up!" I yell while throwing a pack of gummie worms at her face. She wakes up with most likely a faint memory of where she is. "Candy high?" I ask. She nods and repeats my sentence, falling back against the pillow.

"Okay so let's have a conversation" I say to Erin. She nods her head and turns my way. "Earlier, when I asked you about dinner, you were totally rude to me. Why?" I asked.

She lets out a breathy sigh. "I can't talk to people like you. You know, without pissing you off. I know it sounds weird but it's the legitimate reason why I was rude" she said. My eyes scrunched in confusion.

"What do you mean by 'people like me'? What exactly does people like me do?" I question.

"People like you just sit there and be pretty! Like no hesitation bone in your body! I guess I was trying so hard to take your attention, you picked it up and left with it. Then when I texted you I was sorry, you wanted to be and inconsiderate jerk" she says, playing with her fingers.

"So what I'm hearing is– I'm pretty?" I raise an eyebrow. She laughs and slightly pushes my shoulder. "You're very handsome" she said, ruffling my hair. I smile. "You're not to bad yourself ErBear" I say, winking.
