oh shit it lives

*Time skip to the ball*

*Your POV*

I stood in the foyer next to Sebastian, serving different types of finger food to the many guests in attendance at Phantomhive's Winter Ball. A large Christmas tree stood in the center of the room, all decorated in sliver and blue ornaments with the letter "P" written on them. The guest shuffled around and talked to one another. Lady Elizabeth even decided to dress my brothers and take them to the party as well. Everyone appeared to be having a great time. Except for the host, that is. Phantomhive is a grade A wallflower let me tell you that. He was slumped up against the wall on the opposite side of the ballroom. He had his arms crossed with a pouty expression plastered on his face. Blue-gray locks fell across his forehead, casting shadows across his deep blue eye. The eyepatch that covered his contract seal with Sebastian becoming even darker than black. I can't help but to wonder the story behind it. He always seems so prideful and beautifully surrounded his unholy by obscurity. But underneath there was something different. Something... broken.

A harsh slap across the face took me back to reality. I turned to the man who had struck me and came face to face with an angry noble whining about his food. I could feel the heat rising to the place he'd struck me. I stood there, wide eyed and shocked from the sudden movement. The ballroom had become deathly quiet because of the loud strike. Even Sebastian and Ciel had eyes the size of saucers. I could feel eyes on me from all directions, until Ciel spoke.

"Mr. Audley. I ask you not to lay hands on my servants. Especially not a woman." I could hear the vemom dripping from his tone of voice. "She had done nothing wrong. She was doing her job, and nothing more. It is my and her superiors job's to punish her should she misbehave." By this time I could hear whispers and shuffling about, people shocked at his behavior. The noble stuttered and tripped over his own tongue trying to pull himself back together. "L-Lord Phantomhive, I deeply apologize. She just wasn't p-paying any-" Ciel cut him off. "Silence. I'm going to ask you to leave, Viscount Audley. Good night." Ciel spat. He was quickly ushered out of the ballroom by Bardroy and Finni. I continued to stand there, shocked I had been struck, none the less that Ciel had been so angry about what he had done. Elizabeth and Mei-rin rushed up to me took me out of the ballroom and to my quarters. Mei-rin grabbed a rag. "Oh, no! (Y/n), you're bleeding! You poor thing!" Elizabeth explained and held the now damp rag to my temple. I suppose when the Viscount struck me, he hit me hard enough on my temple to break skin. However, that explains why I'm so dizzy.

I tried to keep the rag there, but none of my limbs would move when I told them to. Mei-rin was freaking out. She removed her glasses. "Lady Elizabeth, would you please retrieve the Young Master and Mister Sebastian? I would like them here." Elizabeth nodded quickly and then left the room swiftly. Black was consuming the edges of my vision. It continued to get darker until I heard Ciel shout for me, but I couldn't keep my eyes open much longer, and all faded to black.

~~~~~~~~~~
When I awoke, it was daylight. The Phantomhive manor was solemnly quiet, and a window was open, allowing a cool December breeze to slip through. As the sunlight streamed through the long billowing curtains, I gained a horrible feeling. It was like I was going to be sick, but vomiting up nerves instead of bile. I tried to sit up, but my head was pounding, causing me to be dizzy. The room span quickly and relentlessly. As I fell back onto the bed, I cried out due to the sudden pressure. Mei-rin scurried into my room, obviously having heard my outcry.
"Ms. (Y/n)! You most certainly shouldn't be trying to stand right now! The Viscount gave you a concussion, yes he did!" As I processed her words I quickly realized that could easily be the cause of the splitting headache and dizziness. It still didn't explain the nervous nausea, however. I spoke, my voice gravelly and hoarse beyond comparison, "Where are my brothers?" Mei-rin's face lost all of it's colour. She was white as a sheet and her eyes were the size of saucers.
Ah. So something happened to them. That is why I feel as if I'm going to be sick.
My headache increased and I viciously threw the blankets aside and pushed myself of the bed, falling to my knees because I had no strength to stand. Mei-rin grabbed me and tried to push me back on the bed. "(Y/n), please!" She cried in desperation. "Let me go! Where are they?! Jackson! Daniel!" I screamed with all I had left of my voice. Somehow in my flurry of attempting to break out of Mei-rin's grasp, I escaped, dashing down the hallway in my nightwear. My breathing was ragged and I was gasping for air every minute or so. When I came to the hall that their room was in, I saw Bardroy standing outside the room with Tanaka, both males with solemn expressions. Bard saw me out of the corner of his eye and gave me the most sincere look of sympathy I've ever witnessed. "You shouldn't go in there, Shelia. It's a mess..." A mess? A mess?! A walked towards them both, panicky and hysterical. "Where are Jackson and Daniel, Bardroy?" I spoke lowly and dangerously. He sighed and gtabbed my shoulders. "You can go in if you must. But before you see it... I'm sorry." Tanaka nodded sadly. "I am as well terribly sorry." At this point I was in a full blown panic. I pushed past him to see Sebastian and Ciel standing above them.
There was blood on the wall.
The pale carpet turned was now an unholy crimson.
And to top it all off...
Jackson and Daniel's lifeless corpses lay directly in the middle of it all.
For a minute or so, neither of them noticed me until Sebastian turned around. His eyes widened. "(Y/n)..." Ciel whipped around, seeing my face now plastered into one displaying nothing utter shock. My breath was caught in my throat and I was unable to speak. I didn't blink or breathe or move in the slightest. They were trying to talk to me but I couldn't hear it. All I could see was the boys laying on the ground with fear and horrified expressions decorating their once adorable faces. It felt like hours had passed, but after a minute or so, I felt hot wetness on my face. An obscene amount of tears began to cascade their way down my face. My hands came up to grip my hair, and my face contorted into one of horror all in itself. I fell down to my knees and wound my fingers tighter in my hair, not caring at all that it pulled horribly.
"NOOOOOOOOO!"
