Chapter 12

●Betty's pov.●

It's been a few months now and I stopped going to school, deciding that I'll take online courses instead. I have also decided to visit my parents and tell them everything that has happened. My engagement, my pregnancy, everything. Juggie and I have decided to move out of the trailer and find an apartment. We have been looking and agreed to look at two of them.

One is in Brooklyn, New York, and the other right outside of Riverdale. Now I know what you're thinking, Betty you guys should just stay in Riverdale. I agree too but maybe staying in Riverdale isn't the best thing to do. I mean, after everything that's happened I don't think I really want to stay in Riverdale. I turn over and look at the man I'm going to marry. He has his face in the crook of my neck. I feel his breath hit my neck. He has started to grow out his little scruff. I rub his face giggling at how rough it is.

I get out of bed and go into the kitchen and start making breakfast. I hear a knock on the door so I waddle over and open the door. Standing there is Viper and a couple of other guys. 

"Oh! Hi, viper, what brings you guys here?" I ask. 

"We have a new recruit and we were wondering if you and the king would like to come down and test him," viper claimed. I nodded my head and opened the door wider, 

"come inside boys and I'll whip you up some breakfast," they were about to decline until they saw the glare that I was giving them. They gulped and walked inside the trailer. I started making more breakfast when I felt a weight on my shoulder. I inhaled the air and knew automatically that it was Juggie. I leaned against him and giggled. He chuckled and kissed my cheek taking a seat next to the guys on the couch. I gave them each their breakfast and Juggie his coffee. Juggie looked over at me,

 "where's your breakfast babe?" He asked. I smirked and pulled out a jar of pickles and peanut butter.

 "Right here" he looked at me,

 "I've been craving it lately so I'm eating it for breakfast, why do you have a problem with what I'm eating Jug.Head?" I question with a glare. He shakes his head 'no' and turns back to the guys. As they eat I pick up a few words 'Archie', 'recruit' , and 'baby'.

My heart flutters when I hear the word 'baby' and my hand instinctively goes to my stomach. I jump when I feel a kick and gasp. Juggie is immediately by my side. 

"What's wrong!? What happened!?" I chuckle,

 "nothing Juggie except the baby kicked" I say.

He smiles and puts his hand on my stomach and feels around until he feels a kick himself. He laughs a happy laugh. This is the happiest I've ever seen him. I hug him and look over at the guys, I beckon them over and they hesitantly walk over making sure it's okay with Juggie. Viper goes first and places his hand on my stomach. He smiles when he feels a kick. The other two go and gain a smile on their faces as well.

A couple of hours have gone by and we're on our way to the White  wyrm. I put on a really cute outfit with a maternity dress.

(Cause you guys know how extra betty is so I suspect she'd have on of those "perfect" pregnancies where they don't gain weight except in the stomach so that's her outfit, except with her serpent jacket"

Once we arrive at the White Wyrm I'm surrounded by the girls saying how cute I look today and shit like that. I head up to the office and change out of my heels and put my purse down. I walk out of the office barefoot and look for Juggie. I find him with a young-looking guy. (They're like 20/19) Juggie sees me coming over and beckons me closer.

I join his side and look at the guy. Juggie leans close to my ear and whispers, 

"This is the new recruit viper was talking about," I hum acknowledging him.

"Trevor this is my fiance Betty Cooper but you will refer to her as Queen and me King if you get in". I hold my hand out for him to shake. He does and I feel how callused his hand is. I turn it over and examine it. Trevor looks up at Juggie with a questionable look, 

"She does this with everybody just let her do it," he says. I feel around his fingers, pinching here and there. He flinched a couple of times and I sent him an apologetic look. I take my hands and look at his left hand doing the same as I did to the right. I hum in agreement, I take my hands and start examining his face, looking for scars/moles/freckles of the sort. I find a big jagged scar up the side of his neck. I look at his wrist flipping it over a couple of times. I see a mole on the top side of his wrist and smile.

I look at Juggie and nod, he smiles and pats Trevor's back. Trevor looks seriously confused so I sigh and look at him,

 "you passed young snake, welcome to the southside serpents," I say giving him his jacket. He smiles and thanks me. Me and Juggie take the young snake up to the deck and announce the arrival of the new serpent and everyone cheers.

Trevor is taken away by some senior serpents to get a handle on what to do and what not to do. I look over at Juggie and nod my head, we head upstairs to grab our stuffer before we walk out of the bar and head over to my parents house. I knock on the door and my mom answers. She has a big smile on her face when she sees me.  She pulls me into a hug pulling me inside. Juggie follows after confusion written all over his face. She closed the door and sits us down on the couch. 

"So what's with the sudden visit?" She asks us. I look at her and release a breath I hadn't realised I was holding. 

"Mom, me and Juggie are engaged, I'm also pregnant, and we are thinking of getting an apartment together," I say all in one breath.

My mom looks at us and smiles, "Well then Jughead you better take care of her or else I'll beat you senseless, actually I think my daughter would do that first before me, so treat her right!" she threatened. Juggie nodded his head, 

"Mrs. Cooper I love betty with all my heart, I would never do anything to hurt her," he said. My mom nodded her head and turned towards me, 

"If he ever does anything stupid, God forbid, you still have your room here" she stated.

We spent the rest of the day just catching up and having fun, I will never forget that day fore that was the day before I lost the best thing in my life.
