When I got home in my new car, I immediately get the cleaning supplies. When I sprayed the TopKick, I swore I saw it shiver. Deciding to ignore it, I continued to clean it. After an hour of cleaning, it looked quite brand new. My clothes were soaked so I rummaged back into the house to get a new pair of clothes. Once I have a fresh pair of clothing on I head back outside. I come to find out mom and dad are fixing up the yard, again.
"Yeah. Probably".
"This one is wobbly".
"Yeah. I'll take care of that real soon".
"Couldn't we have hired a professional?".
"Ah, Sam..." Dad said in a tone. I rolled my eyes and went on the path, and of course Sam goes on the grass.
"What?" Sam asked stupidly.
"...I do not like footprints on my grass" Dad mumbles.
"Grass is grass!" I yell from the end of the pathway. Earning myself a glare from dad. I choose to ignore it and I hopped into my TopKick. I turned on my favorite radio station, attempting to block out their pointless arguments.
"What foot- there's no footprints"
"That's why I built my path. So why don't you go from my grass onto my path, okay? Your sister seems to understand".
"It's family grass, Dad".
"Well, when you own your own grass, you'll understand".
"This, this, I can't do it anymore".
"What?".
"You're putting girl jewelry on a boy dog. He's got enough self-esteem issues as a Chihuahua, Mom". I inwardly laugh at Sams comments. Sam makes up for his stupidity that's for sure. I started the truck up and drove out of the driveway, heading to the were the lake party was. Sam pulled up next to me with Miles.
'Why does he have to come, he'll just flirt with every girl he sees!'
As the radio kept playing, my favorite For King and Country song came up.
"We've prayed the prayer with no reply
Words float off into the night
Couldn't cut our doubt with the sharpest knife
Oh, oh God forgive us
Silence isn't comfortable
We want drive through peace and instant hope
Our shallow faith it has left us broke
Oh, oh God forgive us
Oh, oh God forgive us
A slave to our uncertainty
Help us with our unbelief
Oh, oh God forgive us
Young and old, black and white
Rich and poor, there's no divide
Hear the mighty, hear the powerless, singing
Oh God forgive us
Oh God forgive us
A slave to our uncertainty
Help us with our unbelief
Oh, oh God forgive us
With our white flag sailing in the night
Eyes pointed to the sky
Hands up and open wide, open wide
With our white flag sailing in the night
Eyes pointed to the sky
Hands up and open wide, open wide
With our white flag sailing in the night
Eyes pointed to the sky
Hands up and open wide, open wide
With our white flag sailing in the night
Eyes pointed to the sky
Hands up and open wide, open wide
Oh, oh God forgive us
A slave to our uncertainty
Help us with our unbelief
Oh, oh God forgive us"
I look at the strange blocky face that was on the steering wheel, it oddly was the same as the tattoo on my shoulder. My hand runs over the smooth surface. The truck shuttered again, this time I paid it attention.
"Your not a real truck, are you?" I whispered.
"You're smarter than the boy" came a reply.
"Much smarter" I comment to him.
"So what are you exactly?" I asked.
"A Cybertronian, I'm an Autobot, the weapon specialist, Ironhide" he replied.
"I can already tell we'll get along" I chuckled.
"How?".
"We both seem to like weapons, I just carry around tools that seem harmless, really they are really painful. Such as a wrench, I carry a 9/14 in wrench with my everywhere" I stifle a laugh.
"A wrench? You'll get along just fine with Ratchet" Ironhide snorted. I let out a small laugh as my and Ironhide talked. In my opinion, Ironhide is like a brother to me. One where you can talk to him about anything. I looked out the window to so Sam about to get beat by Trent.
"I'll be right back".
I got out of Ironhide's alt mode and stomp over to where they were consulting with one another.
"Don't you have anything better to do Trent?" I sneered.
"No, but what is a pretty thing like you going to do about it?~" Trent smirked. Anger roared through me as I went and punched Trent where his sternum was. He fell back completely out of breath."Don't mess with me or my family again!" I growled. I stumbled back to where Ironhide was waiting. Sam and Miles stood there a little longer, I didn't really care.
"Nice punch" Ironhide commented as I got into the drivers seat. I smiled and closed the door.
"He deserved it, he was messing with my adoptive brother, serves him right. Plus he was flirting with me when he has a girlfriend already" I sighed. Ironhide started driving back to the house, I just store into spare.
"So what is your name?" Ironhide asked suddenly.
"Destiny, Destiny Angel Witwicky" I responded.
"That's a beautiful name, Destiny. You also are like a guardian angel to your brother" Ironhide commented. I couldn't help but smile.
"Destiny, me and Bumblebee will have to leave tonight to signal our team. I don't want you to panic that we are all of a sudden leaving" Ironhide informed.
"Rodger that, 'Hide" I chuckled. We pulled up into the driveway a moment later. I hopped out of Ironhide's alt and walk to the house. Getting my pajamas and undergarments, I head to the bathroom for a shower. After about fifteen minutes I got out and changed into my leopard printed pajamas. I headed strait to y room and plopped onto my bed.
'Today just had to of been the best day I've ever had, and new friend with similar liking's, who was actually from another planet. Also I got to punch Trent. Officially the best day of my life!'
Soon I'm in a dreamless sleep, a comfortable dreamless sleep. I know Ironhide and Bumblebee are outside, ready to protect us. Today sure has been eventful.
