"Yeah..Yeah.. I know the meeting is at 8:00 I'll be there! Ok.. I'll see you.. Ok bye."

That was what I woke up to every morning. At six o'clock sharp every morning my father, Brennen Emerson, would get a call from his secretary reminding him of his schedule today.

My father is the CEO of Emerson Hotels, the most elite hotels in the country. And I am his only child so I am the one inheriting his company. "HARP WAKE UP!!! I HAVE A MEETING AT EIGHT!"

"I KNOW FATHER!" I yelled back. I do love my Father but he just can't relax, ever. Not even when he goes to sleep, if he does. He suffers severe Insomnia. Which means it's hard for him to go to sleep and stay asleep. So anyways what I was trying to say was that he is always in his "work mode." He doesn't ever just chill. There are occasional glimpses of times that I'll see him. The real him. But only in his eyes. Finally, I lazily rolled myself out of my bed and dragged my duvet down with me and dropped it. I slip out of my pajamas and I put on high-waisted jeans and a nice shirt that said "I really don't care" on with it with some vans. I stood in front of the mirror and ran a hand through my long black hair observing my fairly short figure.

"HARP COME ON! WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE!!"

"I'M COMING!" I ran downstairs to the kitchen grabbing a pop-tart and shoving it in my mouth. Then stood in front of my Father.

"What in the world are you wearing?! Go change immediately!"

"I thought we were going to be late?" I ask innocently. He groaned and looked at me then said, "Fine! Get in the car! The driver will take you to school then directly to the Castanya House after school."

"The Castanya's? Why?" The Castanya's owned the second biggest hotel chain in the country. They have a family of three Colby Castanya, the head of the family. Alexia Castanya, the wife and mom. And lastly Liam, A boy a year older than me their heir to Castanya Suites. Our families are pretty much rivals. Which was why it was surprising we were going to their house.

"Dinner." He replied curtly. "Now get in the car I will see you after school. Goodbye Harp."

"Goodbye, Father."

I was now in the backseat of one the limousines my Father owned. On my way to the Castanya's. I had stopped home for a second though only to change attire. I was now wearing a black pencil skirt with a red top and sleek black heels. The driver stopped in front of gate then pressed the pc button and a monotone voice rang through the speaker,

"This is the Castanya Household. Who are you trying to reach?"

"Colby Castanya," My driver answered.

"And what is your name?" The voice in the speaker asked.

"David. I am the driver of Harp Emerson."

"O-oh! I'm sorry Sir! Honestly," the voice opened the gate, "You can come right in!"

"Finally." David muttered under his breath.

We drove in and then parked. And I had to admit they had a nice mansion. I looked at it and realized it was a bit smaller than ours. I really didn't like the fact that we were rich. We don't need all the extra space. All we really need is a two bedroom house, not the enormous mansion that we have.

The driver got out and opened my door. I walked to the abnormally large door and knocked. Seconds later, my Father opened the door and whispered to me as we walked to the dining room,

"Behave yourself, we have big news try not to freak." And then we walked in silence. All the way to the dining room and once we reached it we were greeted by Ms. Castanya. She ran up from her chair and rushed to meet us.
