Phil: it wasn't supposed to be like this but it is. We didn't want this to happen but were all gonna have to suck it up and work together to cover this up.

She's gone, she's dead. Our friend Alice is lost down there somewhere and it's all our fault so it's our responsibility to cover this up.

Laura: she's dead?

Phil: yes Laura what part of Alice is dead do you not understand?

Laura's pov:

Phill turns Sharply and walks towards me and cuts me off my placing his arms on my shoulders and staring deep into my eyes. I was scared of Phil, how couldn't you be? he killed his friend for Christ sake!

Phil: get the fuck out of here Laura I'm not able for your pathetic shit!

He removed me from his grip and stormed away to the other side of the room.

Laura: Phil maybe you should talk to someone about this? I'm here if you need someone to talk to.

Phil turns around and stands in front of me, he towers above me. he reaches his hand out and slaps me across my cheek , my face tinged with pain but I still felt numb. He stared at me blankly as if nothing happened.

Phil: do you not understand simple English Laura? Piss off !

I stormed out as I felt the tears build up in my eyes from the pain and shock

Phil: silly cow!

I left and walked home. what just happened we were best friend and now we can't stand each other? I need Alice here. we need her. but she's gone and there's no going back!

My phone started to vibrate in my pocket so I pulled it out I had two texts from Nathan.

Nate: what happened to Alice Evan won't tell me?

Nate:meet me at the grill at 4

I headed towards the grill with questions swarming my head.
