"Please...come back," I whisper under my breath, praying he would miraculously return back from the dead.

Tears roll down my cheeks as I gape down at his lifeless body. He wasn't suppose to die. My fingers shake as they move towards his chest, landing on the golden scepter that had launched itself into his body. I yank the scepter out of his body and press my hand against the open wound leaking blood. I shake my head repeatedly, refusing to believe that Tony Stark -my father- was dead.

"Don't leave me," I glance at his injured face. Blood gushed down the side of his forehead, along with the multiple bruises that covered half of his face. I dip my head down into the base of his neck, my voice cracking as I weep. He was dead and he wasn't coming back. The promise he made me many years ago made my stomach twist with agony; swearing to never leave me and protect me with his life.

"You can't be dead..."
