THE CHAINS BOUNDING LOKI'S bruised wrists and neck clank against the marble floors as he walks into the throne room. At the head of the throne, wielding his mighty staff, sits Odin. On his left, stands a concerned and worried Frigga.

"Mother," he greets before halting at the bottom of the staircase. "Have I made you proud?"

"Don't make this worse, Loki," she advices gently.

He raises a brow and glances down at his chains.

"Define worse," he says, raising his head to meet her unwavering gaze.

"That's enough!" Odin's voice barks out as he rises from his throne. "I'm done listening to your nonsense."

Loki frowns and looks up at Odin. He narrows his eyes and shifts closer to the stairs.

"Nonsense?" He questions, teeth gritted and fists clenched. "I did what you couldn't do."

Odin leans forward with a sympathetic stare. "My son-"

"You are not my father," Loki snaps, his eyes gleaming with rage.

"Loki!" Frigga warns him.

Odin's eyes flashes with hurt as he straightens his back. "Loki," he says, his voice straining. "You are here by banished from Asgard."

Loki clenches his jaw and stares at Odin with furrowed eyebrow. Odin continued, "You will be stripped of your magic and forced to live on Midgard till you have shown that you have changed."

"That's not-"

"This is not a debate, Loki," Odin says rather harshly.

Loki shuts his mouth and gulps down the lump in his throat. He looks down at the chains trapping his wrists; trapping his magic. He wished he could rip them off and use his powers to get out of this mess. He hated the idea of being sent to Midgard, of being in the same world as those who rejoiced in his embarrassing defeat, and being in the presence of those damn Avengers who ruined everything he worked for.

Odin turns his attention toward the guards behind Loki. "Take him."

The guards pull against Loki's chains, but he wouldn't budge. Loki stood his ground and growled with a undying rage, "You will parish." He took a glance toward his mother. "All of you."

And with those last words, he spun around and followed the guards.
