Chapter 6

Tyler's POV

This'll be a nightmare scene

I opened my eyes to see only long grass everywhere. I looked around seeing no one else until I saw a familiar face.

"Evan!?" I said running up to him. I hugged him and before I knew it, he was gone. I saw particles and knew it was Evan. I looked behind me and saw my mom.

"M-Mom." I said. I tried to touch her face but she disappeared too. I started crying. Evan and my mom were gone.

"Evan....M-Mom...." I said starting to feel more warm tears go down my face.

End of nightmare

"EVAN!! MOM!!!" I yelled. I woke up to see I was safely beside Evan. I felt tears on my face. I wiped them away and got up and went outside trying not to wake Evan. I sat down on a log feeling the cool breeze on my face. I closed my eyes.

"I'm sorry mom. I wish you were here." I said.

"Tyler? You ok? I heard you yell and then leave the tent." Evan said.

"Oh uh Evan. No, I had a nightmare. I'm fine though." I said. He put a blanket over me and sat beside me.

"You wanna tell me about the nightmare."Evan said.

"Not really, but if I don't I won't feel better." I said. I breathed in and then out.

"My nightmare was that I was in a grassy field with no one else. Until I saw you." I started. Evan didn't say anything so I went on.

"I ran over to you, to give you a hug but you disappeared right before my eyes. I saw my mom who was behind me and I tried to touch her but she did the same." I said starting to cry.

"I thought you died or something. Then that's when I woke up crying." I ended.

"Tyler...you know I'll never leave you." Evan said.

"It's not that. I guess, I just remember my mom. She died when I was 7." I said. Evan was silent.

"I never told you about my past have I?" I asked.

"No, you haven't." Evan replied.

"Well, when I was younger me, my mom, and my dad loved to always be together but one day. My mom got cancer in her leg." I said.

"It was already too late for the doctors to help her so she died on my seventh birthday. I've never really celebrated my birthday since it always reminded me of her. My dad remarried to a nice women who I now call mom." Evan put his hand on my shoulder.

"I promise, I'll never leave you. Ok?" Evan said. I sniffed and wiped my tears.

"Ok. Thank you Evan." I said.

"No problem." Evan replied. We hugged for a while and then went back to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of singing. David was singing. I got up and went out to see.

"Hey, good morning." I said.

"Mornin'" David said. He stopped singing and playing his guitar.

"Are the others up?" I asked.

"No ,not yet. Your glad that I didn't jump on you again." Lui said.

"Yeah you bastard." I said. I scratched my head and sat down. I sighed.

"You alright? You look tired." David asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I just woke up in the middle of the night." I said.

"Oh yeah. Lui and I heard you yell." David said.

"It was that loud? Oh my god. It was horrible." I said.

"Yeah, nightmares are horrible." Lui said.

"Wait, how did you know?" I asked.

"Heard you and Evan talking. Sorry to hear about your mom." Lui said.

"It's alright. She's peacefully in heaven." I said looking at the sky. I felt someone wrapping their arms around my waist. I looked behind me and saw Evan.

"Tyler." Evan said. He had a calming smile.

Evan's POV

I was smiling when I hugged Tyler. I was sad. I couldn't help being sad because I thought people would hate me and him being together.

"Good morning Evan." Tyler said. I felt tears in my eyes but I didn't let them flow. I let go of him and went down to the lake.

I sat down and took out my phone. I thought of taking a quick video. So I went to the camera and started filming

"Hey! Sorry if I've been gone for a while. I'm out on a camping trip with my friends." I said. I smiled and waved. I stopped recording and posted it on Twitter. After a few minutes comments quickly turned up.

@Vanoss, where have you been!? We've been worried

@Vanoss people have been unsubscribing you, even me

@Vanoss wow. You've grown, I wondered why people have been unsubscribing

I felt tears in my eyes. I kept scrolling down seeing all the hateful comments. Someone actually made fun of me by saying:

@Vanoss your so fat and ugly, go die in a hole

I covered my mouth and turned off my phone and threw it away onto the grass. I cried into my knees. I was so loud when I was crying.

"W-Why? Why me!? I'm already sad enough!" I yelled. I looked at the water. It was so calm.

"E-Evan...?" I heard Tyler's voice. I looked up and felt more warm tears flowing down my cheeks like a river. Tyler hugged me from behind.

"I'm here." Tyler said.

"I'm always here for you."
