Liam's POV
I was on my way home from work when my husband, Theo, called me. "Hey, honey," he started, stretching out the Y in both words. "Do you mind stopping by Starbucks on your way home?"
I smiled at how cute he sounded. "Of course....your usual?"
"Yes, please." I could hear his smile through the phone. "I love you."
"I love you too," I replied as I smiled wider. I hung up as I pulled into the Starbucks driveway. I walked inside and stood in line, and noticed a very familiar face beside me. "Mason, Mason Hewitt?"
He looked over at me and the biggest smile appeared on his face. "Liam Dunbar!" He pulled me into a tight hug then let go. "How've you been, man?"
"Pretty good," I replied, but got cut off by the lady at the counter telling me it was my turn to order. "Hi, can I get a double chocolate chip frappe and an iced pumpkin spice latte?" I pulled out my wallet to get out money and pay.
"So," I heard Mason say after I stepped out of line. "Did you and Hayden reunite, or is there some other lucky lady that you just happened to forget to mention?" He asked, gesturing towards my ring.
"Oh, about that, I would've told you, but I thought, maybe it should be in person." I paused. "I married Theo."
Mason was obviously not shocked at all. "I knew it would happen! Looks like Corey owes me ten bucks."
"Iced pumpkin spice latte and double chocolate chip frappe for Liam Raeken!" I heard a worker yell.
"That's me," I said as I walked up and grabbed me and my husband's coffee. I turned back to Mason. "Do you want to sit here and catch up for a little bit?"
He nodded. "Yeah, I'd love that!" We sat down at a table and immediately Mason said, "so, tell me more about the story behind Thiam."
I laughed. "Well, after graduation, my parents thought I was going to college, so they moved out of the state and I just couldn't bring myself to leave Beacon Hills. So, I stayed with Theo, and four years later, we're married." There was a short silence until I broke it. "What about you and Corey?"
Mason smiled and looked at his coffee. "We've been better than ever." He paused. "I've been thinking and I kind of want to propose to him."
He was about to continue until my phone rang and Theo called. "Sorry, can I answer this real quick?" He nodded and I walked away.
"Liam, where are you?" There was a hint of panic in his voice. "You know I worry easily when it comes to you....and I'm getting really impatient, I need my coffee."
I laughed. "I'm sorry, I ran into Mason and we were talking, I'll be home soon." I hung up then went back to the table. "Theo's getting impatient. I'll call you later and we can meet up sometime when we have more time to talk." I said, as I grabbed the coffee.
"Yeah, sounds great!"
I quickly drove home and walked into our apartment and was greeted by Theo. I leaned in to kiss him but he put his hand in front of my face, and he grabbed his coffee. I gave him a hurt look, knowing it would make him feel bad.
He took a drink then looked back up at me and sighed, "I'm sorry, you know I'm used to having my coffee long before this time." He quickly kissed me then sat down on the couch and turned on the latest episode of our favorite show, Supernatural.
