-Hey, hey birthday girl wake up -Alex started caresing Taylor's cheek
-Not yet... just a bit more... -Taylor whined still sleepy
-C'mon sweetheart, it's gonna be a long day- Alex kissed her softly
It was a bright Saturday morning, and the couple were going to celebrate Taylor's birthday in her hometown, with her family. Taylor's best friends along with Alex had prepared a big surprise party for Taylor, they invited their close friends only, and some of her neighbours. The party wasn't taking place until 8, but they still were celebrating with her family first and Alex still had to check on some details.
-I wish Scoot was here today, I miss him so much I wanted to take him with us for my birthday -Taylor said to Alex while putting on a short white dress in which you could clearly saw her underwear.
Alex was nervous about the party, not because he thought something was going to fail, but because Miles was coming. He hasn't spent time with him lately and he's really eagger to see him, even if he can't be with him the way he would want it as it is his GIRLFRIEND's birthday, not his BOYFRIEND's.
Around 6, while Taylor was busy with her childhood friends, Alex escaped to meet with Zach, David and Lola to check on the last details. The place was all decorated with at least a hundred ballons, they had "Taylor's Dirty Thirty" signs all over the place, cowboy boots wallpapers, a sparky crown for Taylor to wear, temporary tattoos for the guests, gifts from all of them, a very huge photo of Scoot hanging on the wall and a big red velvet cake. They had nearly everything ready and the guests were already arriving. Alex headed back to Taylor's home to change clothes. He picked a gray suit and slicked back his hair. He grabbed Taylor's present and picked her from her little reunion with her friends.
-Where are we going Alex? -Taylor looked excited because she knew there was something Alex was hiding.
-You'll see in a few minutes, be patient.
Everyone including Miles were already waiting for them to arrive. They entered the room and Alex took his hands off her eyes to be faced with everyone screaming "happy birthday Taylor!" Taylor started crying as she saw all of her friends there, everyone had traveled to Nashville just to celebrate her and it seemed to be overwhelming to her. Soon one by one greeted and hugged her, Alex was behind her smiling at the view, suddenly something caught his eye. Miles was standing in the back waiting for his turn to congratulate Taylor, he was wearing a white shirt, a pair of jeans ripped on the knees and black moccasins. He had his hair slipped back and a nice pair of glasses. Alex didn't realize he had his mouth shout open until Miles snapped him out of his thoughts
-Close that pretty mouth of yours or a fly will make his way in, love -Miles said smirking -Happy birthday sweetie, hope you like my present -He said as he hugged Taylor, not quiting his eyes off Alex, licking his lips to tease him.
Alex wanted to kiss those lips hard enough to leave them swollen, but all he could do was stare at the sexy man in front of him, fantasizing with all the things they could do if they were left alone. This was one of the moments Alex wished they could live in a hidden island where no one knew them, they could have the life they have always wanted together, get married maybe and have kids. Suddenly Alex found himself sitting alone with a frown, Miles noticed his boyfriend being sad and inmediately walked towards him to cheer him up.
-Little monkeh not enjoying the party? -Miles tilted his face to meet Alex's gloosy eyes, his features lighten by the disco lights
-Not very much -Alex shrugged
-What's bothering you baby? What are you thinking bout? -Miles said softly, caresing Alex' jaw
-I was thinking of how different our lives would be if we weren't famous and if we lived somewhere hidden... we could get married and have children maybe... I love you Mi, and I miss you. -Tears started forming in his eyelids
-Shhh, don't cry, come ere -Miles hugged the tiny man in front of him, he hated to see him crying, and he missed him too. Miles was positive that soon they would be able to tell everyone that they were together, but this just wasn't the moment.
-Come on, let's have a dance
-I don't really feel like dancing right now...
-Oh, don't be like that, I bet that you look good on the dancefloor -Miles started laughing at his own joke, taking Alex's hand in his
-GOSH MI! You're terrible, I hate you -Alex smiled taking Miles hand
