if you have seen an admin or mod show bias, please have reciepts. wrongful accusation or accusation without basis is considered slander and a counts as a double offense. double offenses only act as double offenses if a warning has been issued to the person in question previously.
mods recieve both listed punishments.
i recieve punishments same as members. so do admins, unless their infraction is related to their staffing activities.
❝ first offense ❞
a warning❝ second offense ❞
member : loss of debatemod : suspension from one debate
❝ third offense ❞
member : suspension from one debate
mod : suspension from season❝ fourth offense ❞
member : suspension from season
mod : expulsion from club❝ fifth offense ❞
member : expulsion from club
mod : double-expulsion, i guessif an admin shows bias or does something improper, they are given a warning. the next time they fail to accomodate the rules, they will be demoted. membership will be cancelled, they will be forced to reapply.
it's unfortunate that i think to include this, but precautions are always important.but honestly:
mods get the harshest punishments because they're the ones enforcing it locally. admins would only step in when the situation got out of hand or the mod was not able to properly do their job.
mods are supposed to know the rules very well, or they wouldn't be able to do their job in the first place.
i'm seriously considering adding demotion to the third offense's punishment for mods.
