Reid's POV:
It was 5 in the morning. We just got back from downstairs, just talking. I can’t believe we stayed there that long. It’s something I don’t usually do but it’s definitely a good thing.
I walked her to their room. There was a moment of silence again. It seemed too fast but I really wanted to kiss her at that moment. I think she felt something too but decided to say goodnight instead. Darn it, I lost my chance. I decided to say the same thing. I watched her close the door.
I caught myself looking at the ground. I guess there’s still another time for that. Besides, I still have to know her more; I want to know her better. I opened our door. My brother was splayed on the bed while Zach was on the sofa bed; both were fast asleep. I brushed my teeth and took my spot next to my brother. I didn’t care if I didn’t change, I was too tired. I instantly dozed off.
It was bright and I was walking. I realized I was at the beach. As I walked, I saw someone standing by the shore. It was a girl. I can’t see what she looked like.
In my hands were the keychain I found yesterday. For some reason, I knew it was hers. I walked towards her. I called out her name but can’t seem to hear what I said. She turned around. I can see her smiling but her face was blurry. Why was it blurry? I wanted to see her so badly.
We were face to face now but still no recognition. I handed her the keychain. She was happy; she hugged me. Then I woke up. It was all just a dream. I seriously need to find her. Who is she really?
Zach was suddenly grilling me about what happened last night. I told him about it but not all the details. Don’t need to alert him about my feelings yet. I have to be sure.
He then told us about what’s going to happen today. Both Darius and I couldn’t believe he would do that but I was glad in a way. I hurriedly got ready. After half an hour, we opened the door and knocked on theirs. The younger one opened it. My brother was especially happy with that. She opened the door wider and let us in. I saw the older one with her laptop and then I saw her. She was brushing her hair. She looked at us from the mirror and smiled; I couldn’t take my eyes off.
We ate at the same diner from yesterday; talked for a bit then left. The older one, named Alaina asked us if we wanted to go for a swim. My brother instantly told them he would and linked arms with the younger one, named Mischa.
I was walking quietly beside Deanna but it was actually comfortable. Then I noticed Zach was staring at me, so I told him I don’t mind swimming and I looked at Deanna and smiled. She smiled back. He then agreed to join us at the pool.
After all that changing we headed to the poolside. It was incredible; I could get used to this. We then found a hut and sat there for a while as we wait for the girls.
I was just looking at my nails, I need to cut them soon, they looked gross. I then heard my brother say, “Whoa…” I looked up and there they were, walking towards us. I only had my eyes on her. I wasn’t expecting it but she was looking at me too. This connection we have, what would this lead to? I asked myself.
I caught up with her at the pool.
“Deanna, wait up.” I called for her.
“Huh? Oh hey Reid.” She said cheerfully.
