(Mila's POV)
I giggled, my fingers intertwined in between my friends Amber Spencer and Lily Farley. We all met in kindergarten and instantly clicked. I mean, how could we not? They had the same sense of humor as me and strangely, they were both wallflowers as well. The thing is though, they didn't seem like typical wallflowers. Amber had beautiful golden hair and emerald eyes and Lily had short jet black hair which framed her face perfectly. I never understood why they would ever be friends with me, with my mud brown hair but the moment I heard them speak, I knew we were going the best of friends until the very end...What a joke.
"Hey Mila! Want to see something cool?" Lily asks.
"Sure, why not?" I reply, still chuckling.
"It's this way, Mila!" Amber smiles, taking us towards an alley.
"What is it?" I ask, "Did a cool store just open up?"
"It's a surprise," Amber snickers.
We keep on walking and talking but we eventually reach the end of the alley. Dead end. Confused, I turn to them. Did they want to give me something?
"So, what's the surprise?" I ask.
"This," Amber and Lily say, holding knives. Their smiles like masks on their faces.
"Guys? Why are you doing this? Think about it. Please don't do this. NO!" I shout.
But they didn't listen. Anger bubbled inside of me as each wave of pain came. Stab after stab after stab. I try to fight them but eventually, I give up because I'm probably going to die. I kmow that dead people can't kill. I swore to myself though, that if I ever got through this I WILL make them and everyone who has ever hurt me sorry...And that's what I'm doing now.
TO BE CONTINUED.
