The Tension

Tasha's POV

" Vince, no. Follow him. I don't care follow him, idiot. " Ellie shouted at someone on phone.

I was really scared now. I told them about my family and that incident. I don't know what happened with Edwin he just ran out of the house and I don't know what is he doing now. God!!! Please, don't let him do something stupid. I prayed with all my being. I was too worried. Where is this guy!!! I swear I have never seen this kind of crazy person. He is giving his family heart attack. Here everyone is worrying and he just left without saying anything!!!

" Still switched off. " Mrs. Stewart said.

" This boy!!!" Ellie said in frustration.

" I am sorry, I shouldn't tell you all about my family. I don't know what happened with me today, I couldn't control myself just flow on." I said.

" Hey, Tasha. It's not your fault. He is like this since long back. He can't let go that incident. " Ellie said.

" Ellie, don't stress her out more. She is already weak." Mrs. Stewart said.

" Alright." Ellie said and her phone started to ring.

" Hello, Steffan?! " she picked it up.

" Yes, he again got that." She said.
.........................

" Yes, send." She said and hung up.

I hope everything is OK. I was just sitting like a broken person. I don't know what to say, I don't know what is happening, I am not feeling well. I have a bad feeling about this all.

" Tasha? What happened? Are you alright? " Mrs. Stewart said.

" Yes, I am fine." I said but to be honest I was not at all fine. I was hell worried about this guy. How can he just do this. I am not getting it, why he behaved like this!!!

I am still not understanding why behaved like a mad!!! And who is that girl called Hailey!!! What's the relation between them!!! Is she their relative!!! His friend!!! Or someone else!!! His girlfriend!!!

I mentally slapped myself after I thought the word girlfriend. He said he doesn't play around with girls. So, she can't be his girlfriend. But anything not girlfriend.

But who is this girl!!! Must be very close to him. He loves her a lot. That's why behaved like this.

She can be his sister. But, he has only one sister, Ellie who is at this moment talking angrily on phone. Then who is this Hailey girl!!!

Whom do we love more?! Our family, friends right!?? Start from family first comes siblings then cousins. Oh, shot!!! Yes, I can I miss this!!!! Hailey can be his cousin. He must have gone to see his cousin. But then why is this tension going on here!!!! Like he is going to do something wrong!!! I am not getting it here.

He and Hailey are so close. That's why he must be gone to see her. I don't understand anything. Something is there I missed. What is this!! What is this!!! What is this!!!!

I was trying to match the shattered pieces of clues here then Ellie just plopped beside me.

" Yes, dad. I did it." She was talking on her phone with Mr. Stewart.

" Take care of your mom and Tasha. I will just come." He hung up.

Ellie looked at me and tried to smile but terribly failed. I hold her hand and gave a gentle press on it.

" Everything will be fine. I know he will be alright." I said to her and she sighed.

" I hope so, Tasha. I hope so." She said more like whispered. I hugged her tightly. She did the same.

" You stay here I will bring water for you both." She pointed me and Mrs. Stewart.

I saw Mrs. Stewart was sitting without any expression on her face. I sighed. What have I done!!!! Why do I need to tell these all!!! If I never told this to them they will not face this problem.

" What are you thinking, Tasha? " I turned to Mrs. Stewart.

" Nothing just feeling guilty. If I didn't tell this all, this wouldn't happen. " I said and a lone tear slipped on my cheek. I didn't bother to wipe it.

Mrs. Stewart pulled me into a hug and patted my back. She broke the hug and wiped my tears after placing a kiss on my forehead.

" No, dear. We need to share our pain and what we kept in our mind. If you don't share then it will hurt you more. Sometimes we need to let them only flow. Just to get the relief we need to let out the pain we kept in. We have to share it or else it will be hurting more. Like Edwin. He never let it out that's why it is hurting him more." She said and sighed.

I was about to ask what the thing Edwin is keeping inside but Ellie came back at once.

" Here mom." She handed her mother a glass of water.

" This is for you and your Medicines. " she gave me a glass and my pills. I took them and she again sat beside me, she checked my temperature. I know I was burning in fever. Tension use to give me fever. It's weird I know that.

" Oh, my God, Tasha!!!You are burning!!!" She almost squealed.

" Take her to her room, Ellie." Mrs. Stewart said.

" What happened?" I heard Mr. Stewart on the doorway. He came back already.

" Ethan?!" Mrs. Stewart ran to him and hugged him tightly.

" Don't worry, Love. He will be fine, he is my son." Mr. Stewart smiled at his wife even though he was in tension.

" I know. That's why I am worrying about I know your nature." She said to her husband.

" He is driving to countryside. That road is not that busy. Vince and Robbie are following him with their teams. Don't worry. He will be alright. " he said to her and wiped her tears.

" Ellie!!! Take Tasha to her room, I am calling the doctor. " Mr. Stewart said.

" Come on, let's go. " Ellie literally pulled me and dragged into my room.

The doctor came and checked me. I was just thinking about Edwin and praying for his safety. God!!! Please don't let him do anything bad. The doctor left and Ellie make me eat something. I don't even know what, I wasn't able to look and anything eyes  were burning. I took medicines silently. I wasn't able to open my eyes. I felt immeasurable pain in my head. It was blasting. I just stayed still and tried to sleep. I don't know when I dozed off.

I wake up and saw it's all dark around. Just the lamp with a minimum light was lightened beside me. I tried to sit but my head wasn't supporting.

I was thinking what happened with me!!! I was remembering. I was not well at morning. Ellie was feeding me that abnormal potion. Then I got a small fight with Edwin. I told everything about my family. Edwin left after saying that one name Hailey. Then I got a fever. I came to my room and slept. Then!!!! Then what happened with Edwin!!!! I again tried to sit. It was hard but I tried.

" No need to sit. Can't you stay still for a moment? " I heard the cold voice from the couch as always that person's eyes were stuck on phone.
