Y/N's Pov
I woke up hearing people talking. I admittedly felt the presence of someone right next to me, I decided to keep my eyes closed and pretended to be asleep. For Irene knows, they might be crazy, or something. I recognized the presence, I think it was Lucinda and Aphmau...
"What do you think she means of "Mara the Dragon Matron"...? Is she a divine?" A voice said. Laurance...
"I don't know... Maybe... We have to wait, and we cannot straight up examine her." Another said. Lucinda...
"She's nice, and I agree with Lucinda. We shouldn't study her like history or an experiment. She's her own person." One said. Aphmau...
"Kawaii~Chan doesn't think that Y/N~Sama would like that, but maybe we can... From afar?" A voice said. Okay... So that's obviously Kawaii~Chan.
"You guys do know how to examine the babe, right?" Okay. Casanova, Travis.
"Travis! Are you serious? Y/N would not like being studied. That's the last thing she needs. My sister wouldn't like that." Katelyn.
"You do know that Y/N is awake and listening to our conversation, right?" A voice said. Okay, that's Dante.
"What?" Kawaii~Chan, Aphmau, and Lucinda said.
"Dear Irene. Help them all." Dante said.
"Prove it." Laurance said.
"Y/N, would you rather be studied like a bug, or be treated like normal?" Dante asked. I stayed quite.
"See? Y/N is not awake. She's sti-" Laurance started.
"Be treated like normal." I interrupt. I sat up and stared at them while fixing my bandana.
"What?! How!?" Laurence asked in disbelief.
"Easy. When your sleeping, you move quite a bit. But when you act... Most hold their breath or stay dead still." Aaron said. I spun my head around to see Aaron right behind me, he startled me causing me to trip and fall onto Dante. I rolled off of him and groaned.
"Sorry Dante..." I mutter as I glared at Aaron. Aphmau, Lucinda, and Katelyn burst into laughter. Travis held his hand out and I took it. After I got up, I helped Dante up and punched Aaron's arm playfully.
"You scared me weirdo!" I said trying not to laugh.
"I'm proud of that." He said smirking.
"Ru-" I started. I heard someone run up behind me.
"Lady Y/N! Someone's expecting you at the gates!" Malachi said.
"Okay." I said standing there. I didn't know what happened, but all the sudden, Malachi was dragging me by the feet to the gates.
"Holy mother of Irene! What the heck?!?" I yelled while trying to grab a branch from a tree.
"Bringing you to the gates." he said. I got out of his grip and disappeared into the trees. I hopped from tree to tree going to the gates to see a firey blob. Cadenza, oh dear Irene. She always complains about my fashion, and she's going to drag me into a stupid thing where she is going to change my outfit. "Oh GIRRL! What is with your outfit? Let's get you fixed!" She said as she dragged me to the tailors. We were there for more than 2 hours. We finally ended and I was wearing black ripped jeans, some improved combat boots (ones that are not worn down), F/C crop top with a very dark F/C jacket. I put on my F/A and talked with Cadenza at a cafe. At sunset, we said out good byes. I sighed in relief because of how long we talked about fashion. I felt a presences behind me and I pulled out a dagger. I throw my dagger at them and purposely miss. I heard them gasp as I turn to see Travis.
"Ugh what now?" I groaned.
"Just wondering whether you wanted to go on a da-" he started. I know what he's about to say. My Irene, this can be annoying.
"No." I cut him off and go pick up my dagger that had landed in a tree. I walked away from Travis and ended up at the docks. I stand there not knowing I was spaced out.
"Lady Y/N? Y/N! Snap out of it!!" Lord Levin said waving his hand in my face.
"I'm sorry m'lord!" I said bowing apologetically to him. I heard him chuckle as I bowed and returned to stand.
"It's alright Lady Y/N, though... I had been calling you for like.... I don't know... Five minutes?" He said. I panicked on the spot.
"What?! I'm so so so so so sorry!!" I said. Irene please help me. Yes dear? I didn't mean literally, but okay... I know... Levin is calling you again... Oh... I should probably talk to him...
"Y/N? Are you okay? You seem quite distracted?" Levin asked looking worried. "You're not sick are you?!" He used his hand to feel my forehead to check my temperature.
"I'm fine, Lord Levin. I just have way to many things in my mind." I said while giving a slight smile. A fake one, but I guess it qualifies as a smile.
"Okay... Well, Lady Y/N... Miss Hyria stopped by and said that she would like to speak to you soon." Levin said smiling. I gave a slight smile and fixed my bandana.
"Should I see her anytime soon, or now?" I questioned.
"Leave tomorrow morning. You should get your rest now..." He said. I nodded and say "I should head off... Good night Lord Levin."
I walk off and hear him say good night ever so faintly.
Instead of going to bed... I hopped from tree to tree. Near the lake, I had felt a strong presence. I guess I was too focused about the presence, I didn't see the trap until I walked into it... A rope pulled me up and tied me up, I tried to break it, or squirm out of the rope, but nothing happened... Every thing was blurry for some reason... I tried to scream, but no use... No use because the presence was behind me, and they held a cloth to my face... Causing me to black out cold...
