Rain Showers

I wasn't home that night when it rained. I waited till the clock strike an hour past midnight. The very time you kissed me almost a month ago. I don't know why and how but the showers somehow became surprisingly gentle. Thin droplets of rain welcomed me as I stepped out from the doors. I ran and ran. Splattering water beneath my cold feet ignited the feeling of nostalgia and a little bit of bittersweet melancholy, the way I remember you. I'm still here existing, you know. Are you well? I missed you. I miss you. And even if you're right beside me right now, I will still miss you.
