Days after.. while I'm waiting for a message from the administration, my phone rang,
"they sent me to study journalism what about you?" X
"Not you again!! Who the hell are you" I said to myself xd
Vrrrr Mina calling " jass, they didn't accept my request, they sent me journalism instead of English what about you!?" She said crying.
"Omg sorry for that hny 😔..
I don't know yet they didn't send anything, tell me, did you send me a message minutes ago?" I asked.
"No, I didn't why's that" she asked.
"Nothing important, Ok then call you later when they send me the letter" I said.
Few minutes later, I got a letter from the administration, I opened it quickly I red what was written
"Ms jasmine we apologize, your request hasn't been accepted, you are going to study journalism in university03, good luck"
I shocked I couldn't even believe that and accept the idea...
"they must be kidding me..how they can do something like that, I deserve to study English.. I want English not journalism.." I screamed
For a second I felt all my future has been ruined, coz I have built it on my English studies, My goal is to study English, write books in English, live in USA and be successful author.. But after I've been rejected.. I'm lost..don't know what to do..
I sent Mina a msg that they didn't accept me neither ..then I felt asleep without I feel..while thinking abt my future.
Next day.. I opened my eyes.. Looked around me, and I didn't have the desire to wake up or do anything, knock knock.. It's mom, she came to check on me,
"Morning sweety hw r u" she said softly. I see that she knew somehow.
"Mornin, I'm good mom" I replied
"It's not the end of the world dear, u can study journalism in the university and English in private school" she said
"Don't know mom I'll think about it"
She kissed my forehead and left.
Vrrrr text msg "see u at the university in few months, I see that we gonna be classmates" x
I start having feeling that it's my psychopath ex boyfriend, but from where he got my number??? No no I must be mistaken.
I got up from bed and went directly to take a shower so I can wake up from my nightmare.. After that I had my breakfast nd called mina to meet her..
Me "Morning dear hw r u?"
Mina "fine but still can't believe jass"
Me "Let's meet and talk, r u free now?"
Mina "yes sure I'll come to u"
Me "OK perfect I'm waiting"
I was waiting in the garden when she came, we hugged each other and talked about what we can do, and I told her what mom suggested.
"Mina we can study English in private school while studying journalism what do u think?" I said
"It's a good idea but university gonna take all our time how we can make it" she replied.
"Yea we will try to make it, we should never give up our dreams. Let's study journalism and know how it works, then we will decide! " I said
"Good idea smart girl hhhh" she replied.
We passed the whole day together, watching series and laughing , like that we forgot a little bit about the rejection letter.
