Jade and I walked towards the lunch room with Jade busily texting Jenna and me thinking about the events that happened early in the morning.

Jenna hadn't replied to all of our texts though. And we were very worried.
Well I was worried. But Jade was plotting her next kill because all her texts went unanswered.

Mine went like this.

Me: "Jenna, where are you?" 7:50 AM.

Me: "Jenna are you okay??" 7:53AM.

Me: "Biiitcccchhhhh?" 7:54 AM.

Me: "OMG if you didn't respond to that then it means something biiiigg happened." 9:00 AM.

Me: " Okay. Lemme ask in your language. Did shit go down?." 9:30AM.

Me:" Jenna?????" 10:30 AM.

Me: "Really Jenna??" Just now.

Jade on the other hand's texts went like this.

Jade:"Bitch where are you?" 7:51AM.

Jade: " Are you okay??" 7:52 AM.

Jade: " You are missing all the Dave Mattews hotness in the atmosphere." 7:55 AM.

Then she lost her cool.

Jade: "What the hell Jen?" 9:30AM

Jade: "You've got to be fucking shitting on my stink ass toilet right now." 9:47AM.

Jade:" Like you are fucking ignoring me right now????" 10:00AM

Jade: "Really now bitch?"10:30 AM

Jade: Fine. Fucking be like that. Just now.

And Jenna did not respond to even one of our texts. I've got to admit, I was pretty mad at her for that. Like if you don't want to talk just send a text saying you don't want to talk or something. You don't need to be a bitch about it.

"That little twat. Stupid bitch Ignoring all my texts. Very rare to even get a text from me and she gets one and want does she do. The stupid bitch ignores me."

I sighed when we sat on our usual lunch table. "This is just not like her. Like I don't even understand."

"Well I get it. The bitch wan-". Jade was cut off with the screeching of a chair on our table and we both whipped our heads to see who it was.

With messy blonde hair tied with a band and disheveled clothes stood Jenna. She took a seat on her chair and smiled at us awkwardly.

Like bitch what do you want us to say?

She took in a shaky breath a said," Uh, hey guys."

Jade grabbed her peanut butter jelly sandwich that she had had a few bites off and stormed out of the cafeteria.

Well oops. Who let the dog out?

"I'm sorry Taylor. I just-" I cut her off.

"Sorry?" I raised an eyebrow. "Do you know how worried we were and you just come in the middle of lunch to tell us, well me you're sorry?". I said incredulously.

"I had a lot of things going on and I just couldn't bring myself to answer your texts." She began to fiddle with her fingers.

"Bullshit. Like you don't have people who care about you to tell them what you're going through."

She sighed passing frustrated hands through her messy hair. She took a deep breath and began to say, " I had-"

She was cut of by the sound of a manly scream across the room. We turned our heads just to see that Jesse had punched Andy square in the jaw.

Andy stumbled back a bit and right when he was about to attack again, Jesse kicked his right leg and punched him again in full speed. Andy fell clutching his leg and growling in pain.

"Stay the fuck away from her." Jesse said with a sickening calm bitter voice and stormed out of the lunch room as well.

Wow. The lunch doors must be alert. Will never know when a storm is arriving.

Jenna had a painful look on a face. And had a look of sympathy in her eyes whilst looking at Andy Hamilton.

What? Sympathy? Jenna would have said something like did you see how his muscles flexed when he punched Andy? Or something silly like that.

She kept silent though. Looking at her midnight blue painted nails. I know, interesting colour to look at.

I furrowed my eyebrows, remembering," What were you going to say?"

She shook her head slightly giving me a tight smile and said, "Uh, it was nothing."

"Nothing at all."She murmured quietly this time. Seeming to convince herself more this time.

I just nodded slowly. And ate the rest of my food without talking to her even when she kept glancing at me.

I just wondered what the hell Jesse and Andy were fighting about. And who was this 'her' Andy is supposed to stay away from.

When the bell rang, I let out a loud groan of disappointment and stood up from my chair with Jenna along with me.

"You sound like an animal. An over fed animal." Jenna said in between laughs.

"Oh please, like you are any better than I am." I rolled my eyes playfully.

"Oh Lord, you didn't just say that because you know I'm going to give you a long lecture about how some sounds should come out at the appropriate times." Jenna winked.

I scrunched my nose in disgust and that made Jenna even laugh harder. Snorting in between laughs. Yep. I can tell I'm definitely the animal here.

And just like that Jenna and I went back to normal. She knew I couldn't stay like that with her for that long.

"Byeee." She waved as we went in different directions.

I waved back and rounded a corner just to see Jesse leaning against the wall next to class with eyes closed and furrowed eyebrows.

He looked so cute. He looked almost angelic. You would never have thought this guy punched Andy and displayed so much hatred and bitterness.

Just then, his eyes flicked open and I saw his ocean blue eyes staring at me intensely. Just like this morning.

I couldn't breathe at the intensity of his eyes and the myriad of emotions flicking through them. I started breathing faster. This was the first time I had seen him without a scowl and boy did he look good.

I turned away and shook my head as I entered the class. And my breathing began to level a bit. I can't believe I nearly got an asthma attack because of his hotness.

The teacher had already assigned work on the board and already left a note saying she would be late. Thank God.

I took a seat and looked out of the window taking in the view. As I was looking outside, I saw a figure pacing back and forth and running his hands through his hair nervously.

He was pacing under the oak tree where people normally met. Was he waiting for someone? Why was he pacing back and forth?

I squinted my eyes in order to get a better look at the person and my breath hitched as I saw who it was. It was Dave.

Dave Mattews.
