"Veronica welcome home,dinner is ready!" I can hear my mum shout from the dining room. Smells like we're having fish tonight,I need after this shitty day at school.
"So Veronica how was your day?" My mother questioned."It was okay,I guess but I hate the school,"
My mother looked disappointed as if she had just been denied a present.
"Well I'm sorry honey,but that's the only school I could get you in.Its been hard since your father passed away,"
Just thinking of him brought me to tears,remembering the day I saw him fall of the boat into the deep Ocean.
"Dear I'm sorry for bringing him up it's jus-"
"No!" I interrupted her.
"It was my fault he died I knocked him off the edge,It was all me!" I screamed while crying my eyes out,my mother hugging me,attempting to comfort me.
"Mum can I just go for a walk to calm down?" I whimpered. She nodded with a smile and said "Sure Hun,whatever you need,"
I got my stuff together and walked down to the beach.On my way down the sun started to set I watched it glimmer across the ocean,twinkling across every wave.Thats when I saw the silhouette of a young man dragging himself across the sand,when I looked closer I saw that he was bleeding!
