I don't own Harry Potter or any of the characters

James loved nights like that night, because his parents and all of his aunts and uncles had all gone out to dinner, so all 2-bajillion of his cousins were at his house. And the best part? James' godbrother, Teddy, was babysitting! Which meant staying up late eating ice-cream, and the best night of the week! No, month! His mom was giving Teddy a last minute "be responsible" talk as Harry and Uncle Ron pulled her toward the fireplace.

Once the parents had all floo-ed away Teddy asked, "So, what do you lot want to do?" This, of course, started a whole debate. Hugo wanted to play chess, while Lily wanted to play dolls. Louis wanted to have a game of Exploding Snaps, but Dominique thought it would completely ruin her make-up. Rose insisted that they play the new trivia game she had gotten for her birthday, but- obviously- that would be torture; Rose would just win. During the course of the argument it gad gotten so noisy that no one noticed James, as he slipped away.

James worked his way up the old staircase of the Burrow, purposely missing all of the creaky steps, until he got to the office, a place he'd never been allowed to go. The door screeched and moaned as he slowly pushed it open. James winced, wondering if anyone had heard the noise. If they had, they made no move to investigate, which probably meant they hadn't. He crept into the messy, crammed bedroom that had been converted into an office once Uncle Percy moved out. When he was smaller, James had always been told that the room wad dangerous, and that none of the Adults had any recollection of things they had carelessly thrown aside in there, But, the adults should have remembered that he was named after two pranksters. You can't tell a prankster not to go somewhere and expect them not to go.

Inside, papers and books  were tediously stacked three feet high, over an old desk that looked just about ready to snap. Little knickknacks filled all of the nooks and crannies, but there was one object that caught James' eye. It was a little golden ball that had matching golden rings. He reached out to grab the trinket, but accidentally knocked it and two whole stacked of paper to the ground. There was a loud thump when and a clang the papers and the golden ball hit the ground, and then the world started spinning nauseatingly.

The last thing James heard was the cries of shock coming from downstairs.

That's it folks, hope you enjoyed, Byyyyyyyyyeeeeeee!!!!!
