Now then, let's go on and figure out,
"Why Is Syd Alias?"

You might be asking, "Why did Syd want to hurt Kat?" Well, to that I say, he did not want to hurt Kat. Think about it. Every encounter with Alias, the towns people love her more and more. Back in Eto, EVERYONE HATED KAT! Syd was the "only one who understood her." (Edgy)

He knew how the people of Hekseville despised shifts so he had to think of some way to get the townsfolk to love her. He didn't want Kat to suffer the same fate so he made the master criminal, Alias. And thus, there you have it folks!

Also, I've noticed how Syd's personality kind of shifter after Kat got her memories back. He seemed much more serious than normal. Whenever it comes to Kat's endangerment, he is willing to disrupt fate for her survival. Aww, no wonder why it's a ship.

Still Salty About Their 13 Year Age Gap Though.
