Sanskaar never liked to loose ...but sometimes may be losing is better than winning especially when you lose to that someone special.
That Evening Sanskaar spent quite a few good hours ..trying to solve the riddle Swara posed to him. He smiled recalling the Laksh's words who volunteered to help him out .
"Bhai ..Ye ladkiyan itni complicated kyu hote hain ..seedhe koi baat bolte hi nahi and they expect to figure out . I tell you inn ladikyon ka samajhna mushkil hi nahi naa mumkin hain .. Thank god I am saved ,lekin tu phas gaya na ..My poor bro "Laksh threw him a sympathetic look and laughed out.
" Badi sympathy aa rahi hai tujhe, "Sanskaar paused the song he had been playing on loop Achha toh hum chalte hain .. " trying to find some hints but he didn't have any luck " Jab tera time aayega tujhe pata chalega Lucky..Tab dekhnge.Chal ab meri help kar."
And they both got back to work . They zeroed in few places which included a restricted section in library, store room , old college building which was left for renovation .. few more but none turned out to be correct.. Then he called her, didn't mind admitting he couldn't figure out. He waited for her in canteen as discussed. Then she walked in , in a simple long sleeve black tunic top paired with blue denims.. in her simple usual style. As she approached him ,a smile played sneak peek on her lips.
"So Mr.Maheswari .."
Sanskaar sighed . "I couldn't Miss Bose" He admitted again.
"Koi baat nahi hota hain, hota hain ..Now since you lost ..you have to get me something. " she told him , her eyes reflecting the playful glint and He nodded. In fact he didn't mind. May be this could be the opportunity to gift her something of her choice. All he had gifted her was guitar key chain which at this moment was hanging on her bag's zip and a few roses. He would get her diamonds and stars if she asks, in fact anything she would ask for. He wanted to." Anything you say Miss Bose" he voiced his thoughts
"Chocolates" she said excitedly .. and Sanskaar wasn't sure if he heard her right. Did she say "Chocolates ?"and before he could confirm .. she rushed to counter. He followed and watched her amused as she picked a bunch of them merrily. As for Sanskaar ,he just liked the chocolate ..he didn't mind having a bite or two .Seated next to Miss Bose and watching her hog one after another, he had to admit, watching Swara eat chocolate is equally fascinating as watching her read a book.He was fascinated by how she was relishing every bite. Her kid like enthusiasm , happy full blown smile on her face.So Miss Bose loved chocolates .Great! Now he would get her one every day .But How can someone be so happy with a simple chocolate, like they owned everything in world at that moment. Miss Bose is full of surprises and he is loving each of one them.
Then she looked at him " You want some ?"
Sanskaar shook his head smiling, "I am fine with this."He pointed at coke in his hand took one more sip .
.After a while , "So would you mind telling me what was the place you were referring to?' He asked .About to take one more bite Swara gulped. There's no such place. She was just playing around. She didn't think he would take it so seriously and just wanted to tease him. And Now she suddenly felt guilty, the feeling she pushed aside when he admitted he lost. Admitting defeat or failure always takes some guts that too before someone else...but he did , honestly. Now the weight was on her heart. She looked at him apologetically and pushed the remaining chocolates towards him leaving Sanskaar confused. Did she want him to have one too? And he didn't like that grim which took over her smile.
" I ....I am sorry Sanskaar .. "Now she looked at him, eye to eye. " It was a kind of prank .. I ..There's no such place. I was just..." she looked for words.
